let's take a looksie.  cutesie four numbers posted oh they look so cutesie.  remember now, YOU, yes YOU came into my thread to take some cheap shots.  so let's see how the world's greatest handicapper did at Gulfstream and Aqueduct.  How can you lose with four horses?  Nahhhh, forget what I said about the Gulfstream card being a tough card this guy will fucking nail it stone cold. 

I didn't cap the Aqueduct card just assumed it was thin and really only had the time to cap two cards.  But Superman can cap 19 cards a day.  Hell at AQ with four horses in an 8 horse field the exacta must be a lock. 

Now remember, this is an old grumpy fuck that takes shots at me without even watching the races.  Secretariat shall we say . . .

winner 3 paid 7.80 but, but, but, but must have been a trainer angle or something.  or it doesn't count because you didn't bet it that's the ticket.

you had 7 1 5 3.  i bet the 7 to win as well and this tough guy has the balls to rag on me.  can't hit a 4 horse box in a field of only seven horses.

huge wide open field exacta pays 74.00 and he did not have it but, but, but, but those exactas always pay big right?

Now remember, I would NEVER, and I mean EVER do this except for this situation. 

Let's check out the Big A (it gets worse). 

AQ 1: 3-8-1
you had 3 4 8 2
$2 exacta paid 36.00 the EXACT same thing as betting 24 to win on a 1/2 shot which this guy will spit on.  hey i don't bet 1/2 shots but i also don't dive in on someone else's shit.

AQ 2: 3-7-10
you had 7 8 9 10.  damn must have been a bad trip or bad ride or trainer fucked up. 

AQ 3: 5-8-2
you had 3 2 8 6
the winner paid $85 and this is the type of winner this self proclaimed tough guy claims he always has under the radar.  shit if it was so easy why didn't he have him?

AQ 4: 5-6-11
you had 7 6 2 11
5 paid 7.20 to win.  oh man that's bullshit no way in hell a 5/2 winner could sneak by this guy.  must have been some of that reading between the lines bullshit.

AQ 5: 6-1-5

6 paid 6.10 to win.  again, four choices and you can't include a 2/1 winner.  must have been one of those scenarios.  tricky dick was the winning trainer yeah doesn't take a rocket scientist to be aware of him

tough one.  must have been a bad trip.

another 34/1 winner that you claim you hit every other day slipped by.  right at NYRA in front of all the other tough guys.  ouch.

So, let me emphasize, I would never ever do this except for this circumstance. 

Me - I thought that Gulfstream card was very, very tough.  Same thing at SA.

He did list among his typical four numbers some nice winners at SA late but not the exacta.  Who knows what his "top pick" is for any given race.  So $2 to win minus the $24 on the EBX you get the drift.  And, if he does what he says there are multiple win bets in one race.

Like I said, I didn't start this shit and it pains me to have to dig in like this but I have to.  I am humble enough to realize how difficult the game is and willing to admit it. 
 

I'll try to explain this one more time and I'll type slow so you can keep up? I DO NOT play every race as posted above. Most of the races are just for entertainment only and are just to fill out the full card at the tracks.

How I play:

Certain races I deem unplayable such as all maiden races, nw2lt, all 2 yr. old races and turf races as well. I don't box 4 horses unless the total of their odds is at least 30 or the payoffs on the tote justify it. I bet any and all of my selections to WIN only at 5-1 or more so yes sometimes I bet more than one horse to win. If the cost of wheeling my 5-1 is less than the box cost, I'll do that.

Wagers are $20w and $2 or $5 exactas.
