I was wondering where the opening weekend crowd was at Belmont. Turns out, there is a limit of 6,000 patrons allowed each day as the place isn't totally finished yet. Only access to the 1st two floor.

#3 Heat Missile didn't seem interested early in the race, came wide into the stretch & then got pulled up after taking a bad step. Didn't look too good.

Belmont Race 5 for more 2 year old colts & a full field of 11 five of which are first timers.

#2, #5 & #8 have been well bet in their races. However, #8 has been the beaten chalk in his last 3 for Cox & Qatar.

#9 is Jersey Guy owned by Coach Bill Parcells. He's got a 3rd & an ugly 7th. Hasn't been well bet.

I'm a Giants fan so I gotta support the Coach. Small WPS play on #9 Jersey Guy 

#9 Jersey Guy closed about 5 wide & just missed 3rd @ 40-1.

Race 6 another 2 year old crapshoot.

I wrote down 1-7-12 so I'll box those three.
