Nice Card at Colonial

A few nice purses have attracted a few Saratoga jockeys to Virginia.

Race 1 is a STABLE PLAY..

He was wide the entire race & had no kick when he needed it.

SAR Race 3 #7 Yogi scratched yesterday & goes here. Early money has bet her down to 5-1 from ML 12-1. But I've been following Ten Strike Racing since the Spring & will make a small WPS on #2. She's only carrying 115 lbs. & getting 5 to 10 lbs. on the other 5. Will also box 1-7.

Irad got #1 in an early speed duel which may have cost her 2nd as Saez on #2 came through on the rail with the chalk. She had to settle for 3rd.

Still have my Arlington Million t shirts from the 80s and 90s. Wearing one today in honor of todays race. Little tight.

COL Race 4 Shug just won the last race @ 12-1 & now he has a first timer in #4 Integration as the heavy chalk with Tyler. But I saw another horse that should be played by some Covers brothers....

There are some interesting races today like Race 5 at ELLIS. I did a quick cap & can't pick . Well, I can but not with much confidence.

Word was out on Shug's colt. Looks like a nice one.

SAR Race 5 has another 1st time big favorite out of the Pletcher barn with Irad, & out of Curlin for owner Mike Repole . There's 100k on him to win.

BTW..Edgar Zayas is at Saratoga to ride today & he just came in 2nd @ 24-1.

Zayas is also on the #1 Lasso in the 8th. #6 will be the favorite but #1 is worth a WPS play @ 15-1. 

SAR Race 6 Tri key 2 with 567; WPS #6

Damn #6 ran 4th @ 37-1

We have small fields coming up. Looking for some value.

SAR Race 8 I like the fact that trainer Alvarado shipped #1 Lasso to the SPA from Gulfstream after her circled the field to win going away. Zayas rides.

# 6 Rhyme Schemes won easily in his only try as well.

#3 Haul was also impressive winning his in a off the pace ride.

I'll play the 1-4-6 box.

 Irad doesn't usually get beat like that. It looked like he had plenty of horse left & maybe Saez snuck up on him.

Can they beat the 1 at Colonial.....
