Does anyone know pic 3 rules at Santa Anita (scratches)

Question

If you bet a couple of horses in the first leg of a pic 3 and one of them ends up being a late scratch. Do they give you the post time favourite instead or a consolation prize if you get the 2 other legs of the pic 3 right.

For some reason I thought if it was the first leg and its a late scratch you would get a consolation prize. Does anyone know?? Thanks

For the pick 3 only, if any of your horses are scratched, in any race, BEFORE the first leg is run, you get a refund and your ticket is voided.  You&#x27;ll need to wager again in order to have action.
