BREEDER'S CUP RACES

Race 4

I'm going with the Gulfstream shipper in #9 Great Venezuela. She's got 3 nice works & picks up Junior Alvarado

I expect #4 & 6 to battle it out & hope for #9 to pick up the pieces.

BTW..the filly from Japan that banked over 1 million was scratched.

The #4 & 6 were certainly the best & #2 ran 3rd to complete a whopping $11.20 for a $1 tri.

My girl #9 was outclassed today but still managed a decent 4th.

RACE 5  

#1 won his last & goes a furlong further here.

#2 I like him & his last race was impressive

#3 last 3 have been du;; but he picks up Irad

#4 likes to run 2nf having done so in 3 of 5 races

#5 tired in his last & is going longer here

#6 he's been well bet in all 3 but couldn't get the 5.5f distance in his last.

#7 gave up the lead to #2  two races back & is going longer here

#8 throw out his last & he's won at a mile so the 7f distance shouldn't be an issue

#9 didn't like the turf in his last & gets back on dirt. Seems to like Del Mar as well. 

#10 ran 5th to #2 in his last.

My Play is #4 Pavlovian. I think he catches #2 Ocean Bear this time 

#4 Pavlovian dumped the jock Juan Hernandez right out of the gate.

Last night I posted #2 Ocean Bear as the possible winner & sure enough he closed on the outside to get past #6 for the win.

Nice confident ride by Rispoli.

Now we start the craziness!

NOTE: #13 scratched out of the 2nd race & gets in off the AE list here.

I've been on #5 Obliteration trained by Asmussen. He won his first 2 races by 7 & 10 lengths but has finished 2nd in his last 3. At 14-1 he's worth a WPS play.

#9 True Love for Aidan O'Brien has done nothing wrong going 6-3-3-0 & banking almost a half mil.

#11 & 12 both have to fire out of the gate to have any chance of winning.

#10 Cy Fair has the best speed figures for this 5F sprint & picks up Irad.

#10 had the best speed & Irad proved it. #1 ran a big race after a slow start & #4 was a surprise capping off a $1,050 tri for a buck. That's the kind of tri to hit.

#5 ran 4th & no match for the winner

Baffert is loaded here with #2 Bottle of Rouge & #7 Explora.

But all year takethecannolis & I have followed #4 Percy's Bar & #5 Tommy Jo & their battles. I think that gives me my box.

It's a tremendous feeling when you cap a race & it turns out as you expected!

Can't remember the last time I saw a Todd Pletcher horse going off @ 49-1 like #7 Celebrity Warrior. Tiny WPS play

#13 Precise scratching leaves me without a clue in this one.

I'll show some discipline.
