Before these lines came out, I said there would be one match I'd be betting:

Enzo and Cass over the Vaudevillains

Why? Enzo and Cass are the most over tag team in the WWE today along with New Day. It would make perfect sense to have the two most popular tag teams revive the division and as a bonus, go at it with the best mic work.

So I open 5Dimes and what do I see?

    Enzo and Cass +280

    Vaudevillains -400

Huh? The Vaudevillains get absolutely NO pop when they come out. I personally love the gimmick but why advance a team that allows you to hear cricket in the arena vs. one that has the entire arena falling over itself.

Is it because the Dudleys are going to interfere here and start a feud with them?

There should be zero chance the Vaudvillains get a clean win here if Vince wants to push Enzo and Cass properly

I can't believe the odds are this high against them.

Not only that WrestleMania was full of swerve finishes so I don't see swerve happening again at this PPV.

I gotta lay off at this price as it appears the finish has leaked.

But the one match I do love at a GREAT price is:

    Ryback -170 over Kalisto

This is the typical, "I job for you at Mania, give you your Mania moment and you repay me at the next PPV by laying down."

If Ryback loses back to back PPV's to Kalisto, what the hell is the point of having him on the main roster (in pre-show matches no less!).

Really can't see Ryback dropping this one in any way/shape/form. How can Vince tell Ryback, "Your going to job to Kalisto in back to back PPV matches and yes, I know you are 0-4 at WrestleMania too and I'm not going to throw you a bone for that." No way in hell.

Charlotte obviously is another given as there is zero chance they give the belt to an old-school female wrestler like Natasha, who, although I like her, rides her Hart legacy to PPV matches. Terrible odds at -420 but parlays are available to boost profit.

Just tried to drop a big bet on Ryback parlayed with an NBA game and they capped me at an odd price of $85. Makes me feel even more comfortable about the bet.

Enzo & Cass don't need to be #1 contenders nor do they need to be tag champs to be ridiculously over. They're the kind of team you use to get other teams heat. Everyone wants New Day vs. Enzo & Cass on the mic, but the right move, IMO, would be to see if the Vaudevillains can run with the massive amount of heat they're going to get.

Vaudevillians get NO reaction never mind talking about heat.

Not only that, you ruin a chance for this tag team to stay undefeated after their debut. Why take that away from Enzo and Cass.

Remember how over Rusev was? Then he lost a match and it was all downhill from there.

I'll never understand, why are there "lines" on this??? Doesn't someone already know the "outcome" to the "story"??? O.K., speaking realistically now, you got to figure there's some low-level "trainer" or "equipment manager" that knows - "Hey, So-And-So is going to win, so let's bet the house on this....."

Scal, are you a 100% winner on your WWE wagers? If not, then why not? Somebody, somewhere knows the outcome of this charade, and that's who you need to hook up with. Same thing with the Oscars, why are you even betting on this? Is it to watch buff dudes "Slap-&-Tickle" each other? If that's the case, then just go watch free g@y porn......

Jesus Christ!!! I don't understand this whole stupid thing, or anyone who would not only gamble on it, BUT LOSE.....

SCALABRINE...WHAT IN THE @!*& IS going on??????????????????

I am a huge fan of Enzo and Big Cass. Love them. Love their gimmick and mic control.

The fans love them. When I first saw them I said these guys are gonna be the tag champs soon in a weak tag division.

When I first saw the bracket I thought that it would end up being the DUDLEY BOYZ VS. THE USOS in the championship. I mean its the only thing that really made sense. Its the only rivalry.

I guess It could of been the Uso's vs Enzo and Cass, but I didn't think so.

    The Vaudevillains

    IN the championship????

    Wow. I was shocked.

    NOW THEYRE HUGE FAVORITES???????????

    What the Fuc************?

Like you said, these guys are horrible. Get no pop. Have no fans, and now are gonna be pushed to become no1 contenders and face off with The New Day?

Enzo , Big Cass, and New Day can probably do a 1 hour promo and the fans would be into it at the stadium. They love these guys.

    I hate New Day btw.

    I don't know. I just don't get it.

Run with the heat?? I put on sports when wrestlers like the Vaudevillains come on tv, and I'm sure Im not the only one.

Im not glued to Monday Night Raw for three hours, far from it, but a lot of segments I do watch. Like I said when the Vaudevillains or the Social Outcasts or few others come out, hello MLB Extra Innings!

To be honest I would of preferred and respected putting Golddust and Fandango over before the Vaudevillains.

At least they've paid their dues. What have the Vaudevillains done to deserve this push?

Ok, you can say what have  Enzo and Cass done, ok same as the Vaudevillains.

BUT ENZO AND CASS PUT PEOPLE IN THE SEATS BY THEMSELVES!! THEY HAVE TONS OF FANS!!!!

Not a single person goes to watch the Vaudevillains. That's when you go for a leak.

These odds cant stay like this Scal.

Where do you check odds? Is there a website that you don't need to be registered to that you can check? Like the greek?

I don't know too many of the matches for this ppv.

Ryback vs Kalisto you probably hit the nail on the head.

I KNOW SPORTS are wayyyyyyy diff. but hey if Ryback loses back to back PPV's to Kalisto then send Ryback to the minors. Vince might as well spit on his shoes the next time he sees him backstage.

Also , I don't see it as very appealing but this could set up a rivalry of sorts. Clearly they are trying to do that. They can tie the series at 1-1 here and then there will def. be a third match.

2-0 Kalisto and its bye bye rivalry in my opinion, and def. bye bye Ryback.

I like Charlotte, shes very athletic. She's also growing on me looks wise. She's not bad. Far from the best looking but shes alright.

Despite liking her, its getting boring Ric Flair helping every time.

I cant WAIT for the day Ric tries to help and he gets popped by someone and CANT help

    BYE BYE TITLE.

CANT WAIT ::bart scott voice :::

Or there will come a time when Flair is barred from ringside like weve seen many times.

    Its coming.

I agree she will keep her title this PPV for sure.

    WWE World Heavyweight Championship:
-Roman Reigns (-475) vs AJ Styles (+325)

    SNOOZER-FEST. Roman wins.

    WWE Intercontinental Championship
-The Miz (-110) vs Cesaro (+130)

Cesaro is more entertaining than I first thought. I know

he recently came back so maybe too soon for the title. But I like Cesaro here.

    WWE United States Championship
    -Kalisto (+130) vs Ryback (-170)

    Ryback.as stated.

    WWE Women’s Championship
    -Charlotte (-420) vs Natalya (+300)

    Charlotte as stated.

-Dean Ambrose (-705) vs Chris Jericho (+435)

Ambrose. The Ambrose talk show segment is horrible. He's no Brother Love

-Sami Zayn (-145) vs Kevin Owens (+105)

Love Sami Zayn. I think he gets over here.

-Dolph Ziggler (+300) vs Baron Corbin (-420)

    Baron Corbin

Tag Team #1 Contenders Tournament Finals
-Enzo Amore and Big Cass (+280) vs The Vaudevillains (-400)

    Vaudevillains

Scal, are you a 100% winner on your WWE wagers? If not, then why not? Somebody, somewhere knows the outcome of this charade, and that's who you need to hook up with. Same thing with the Oscars, why are you even betting on this? Is it to watch buff dudes "Slap-&-Tickle" each other? If that's the case, then just go watch free g@y porn......

Jesus Christ!!! I don't understand this whole stupid thing, or anyone who would not only gamble on it, BUT LOSE.....

If I was a 100% on anything, I'd quit my job and bet that full time.

You can lose these bets. Why?

Because in the age of social media, someone leaks the winner be it ringman, usher, writer or low level wrestler trying to sabatoge another.

Or you can just follow cash flows to the books. No doubt books adjust their lines heavily when the wagering is 95%/5% on one side. That can only happen when a result is guaranteed in a predetermined 'sport', especially if it from the same account.

Having said that, the head writers/Vince/HHH will change the ending of the match knowing the fans already know the intended result to keep them interested.

It happened this WrestleMania several times. But there are some matches that do not change and this is because the WWE's storylines are built over them, so a swerve is not possible or convenient (i.e, Reigns going over HHH in the Main Event last PPV can't be changed).

BUT if you get in early on lines that have value, where the public believes only one result can occur, or when you have a very low negative ML that will only rise to something like -1000, you can make a nice little chunk of change. You can lose, but it's not very often at all.

    I hate New Day btw.

    I don't know. I just don't get it.

I'm going to shoot myself if these odds shift to Enzo and Cass. I see we are on the same exact page on this one. Makes NO SENSE unless they are trying a slow build to the tag title for Enzo and Cass at SummerSlam, the next major PPV.

As far as New Day goes, they took a gimmick that was destined to fail and put themselves over. That is what people like. They went off script and made it there own and the fans embrace that.

Having said that, they are going to need to freshen it up dramatically in the coming months to stay relevant. You can't keep shaking your as* on TV and gyrating and expect to get pops. (Not only that, all that as* shaking gives us wrestling fans a bad name in that it really is hom o-erotic. It's tongue in cheek hom o-erotic but the end result is the same to a poster like gimmeemoney).

Still, the giant box of Booty O's at WM had me rolling. They need to watch some good stand up. The mic work potential is there. They simply aren't maximizing it.

Agreed. Scal. About the New Day needing some new material.

I respect anyone that gets over with the fans.

For some reason the fans LOVE NEW DAY.

    I don't, but that's not important.

The fans are full into their promos the entire time.

    Respect.

But yea for me that a$$ shaking got old a long time ago.

As much as I love Enzo and Cass, is he gonna say "Im a certified G and a bonafide stud , and you cant teach that" every single appearance for his entire WWE career? He's gonna need some new stuff soon too. Just saying.

You say New Day took a failed gimmick and made it work

I personally think this has to do with all the happy rights and happy marriage being legalized nationwide. I know New Day is not happy , but all the a$$ shaking, thrusting and person-erotic behavior I think was made to attract the happy audience. When New Day got big is around the time when everyone on facebook had the RAINBOW flag as the background of their pic.

    Is this just my opinion?

No way Sam. Wrestling fans are some of the most                     anti-ga y crowds around if dealing with the majority.

Gorgeous George, Adrian Adonis, Lenny and Lodi etc. etc. etc. all got heat precisely for pulling out the g ay gimmick (less so as the years went by just because of social norms changing). Adam Rose clearly is supposed to be ga y but no one really cares about him because his push was a mess.

I don't really think the New Day has anything to do with being g ay per se.

I just think it's a gimmick where 3 talented in-ring wrestlers made something out of nothing. Add some good entrance music and the fans are panting like Pavlov's dogs when they come out.

As far as Enzo saying that every time, look how long Stone Cold's "Because Stone Cold said so" and "What!?" lasted. This doesn't even touch on the catch phrases the Rock still uses and has used for what might be TWENTY years now! So yeah, that catch phrase can last forever!

Another reason to like Ryback is that not only did he lose to Kalisto at Mania but he aldo lost to Kalisto back in November during the WWE Heavyweight Championship Tournament too.  No way Ryback loses 3 in a row to Kalisto.

I am speaking as someone who entertained an idea of writing for wwe back when it's was entertaining.. Alot of writing gigs are available in this industry. Though their web's site careers section. But one script is the only script running. Some times four separate scripts could be running injuries time off attitudes public trends and a lot of factors go into addressing the new story lines and completeing the scripts before a ppv as well as after....

Your spelling, punctuation, and grammar are always so verbose and impeccable, I wonder why you were never able to land that writing gig? Oh well, their loss is Covers GD's gain I guess.....

Here we go again with whacked out lines (just like Taker Shane)

    Reigns has dropped to -270

Kalisto is now -150 vs. Ryback +105

Enzo and Cass are  +150 and the Vaudevillains are -190

Baron Corbin is -150 down from -420!!!

Ok, now that Reigns and Charlotte are reasonable prices, I'm just going to parlay.

You simply CANNOT take the belt off Reigns after all that ridiculous build up to Mania. And it would be to a guy who just lost to...Chris Jericho. As Vince would say, "No chance in hell."

Somehow, Charlotte is -250 now. Natty can only win by DQ and if she does, even that waters down Charlotte's reign. And who wants the very first PPV title defense of the new women's championship to be a....DQ.

This is all leading to Banks over Charlotte as everyone expects. Yes I hate that Flair and Bret could somehow create a DQ but these odd are too juicy.

Parlaying Charlotte -250 and Reigns -270, however square, I know, yields .90 on $1. That's effectively a typical juiced line at      -110. So, given the fact the WWE swerved us up and down at Mania, we get a return to normalcy here at Payback with Champs retaining imo.
