That's not the way it works CD. It's not like they have hispanics e-mail addresses and offer them jobs to run across the border. Why do you think Mexico is a shithole? Is the land cursed? Or maybe Mexicans are say "different" from Americans? What do you think?

I adore how you blame it all on Republicans offering them labor. I work for a Republican, she will not hire an illegal (notice where I live). Don't you think the Dems love the Hispanic vote? I really believe the Dems would have snipers on the border if they thought the invaders would vote Republican.

My question was would YOU go to a foreign country without a passport?

In addition the Arizona MIRRORS Federal Law except for the part that we don't require EVERYONE visiting to have papers like the Federal Law requires. Plenty of laws on the books making it illegal to hire illegals (love the duality there). Love the fact that we had to pass a law to make it illegal to be an illegal (more duality).

killerb, every illegal immigrant i have talked to, and there have been many, all work for some construction company or another with the occasional landscaping company or restaurant thrown in there. everyone says they make shit in their country of origin and come here to increase their pay tenfold. they don't get email invitations, but they know the jobs are here waiting for them. many are driven directly to the job site from el paso or arizona or wherever they come in once they get their rides.

yes, i largely blame repulicans with the assumption that these business owners are probably republican because the illegal immigration issue is simply a supply and demand problem. take away the supply of jobs and the demand to come over here for a better life is reduced significantly.

i always blame democrats as well, not so much for creating the problem, but for not doing anything about it. you'll not find one post where i ever give the democrats a pass on this issue. this issue is so fucked on such a grand scale and beyond any reasonable repair, it took both parties to contribute, although not equally in my opinion.

again, knowing what these guys face at their home countries, i would come over here in a heartbeat just like they do, and i'd come over again and again after being deported, just like they do.

however, if you are asking me whether i would go to another country ilegally or without a passport, which is a completely different question, i definteiyl would not. but i'm not under the same pressures, and incentives, that these hispanics are.

All right cd, we agree on several of your points. Allow me to make one more. A country is defined by it's borders. It's a national disgrace that the government (for whatever reason) has allowed this go on on and on. That said the first responsibility of "government" is to protect it's citizens. I believe it's treasonous to allow millions of people to come here not knowing their criminal records or medical conditions.

Laws are on the books to prevent this, but it's been ignored to the point of a national dilemma. Arizona is trying to protect the citizens but the federal government talks tougher about Arizona than Iran and North Korea. They're the party in charge, I lay it on them now.

i agree with all of that. and i think what our government has allowed to happen and continues to allow to happen on this issue is criminal. in this day and age when certain countries hate us and certain terrorist groups hate us, it's inconceiveable that we can have basically an open border with millions of people coming here over the years without anyone having a clue who they are.

It doesn't do any good to argue with these Liberals. They are dead set on allowing anybody and everybody to live off of our dime, including themselves. They are against most everything our founding father's believed in, because they are weak. They also don't want to protect America. They would rather just suffer the attacks then God forbid, be pro-active to stop any future attacks. Why should Mexican's suffer? We'll pay for all of their medical needs, teach their children all for free because they are poor.

Unions should be able to make sure all of their workers are over-paid and when the industry collapses they will require the Government to bail them out

Also, there is no God and the best sex is gay sex

The libs have more sympathy and concern for non-citizens then they do the for legal citizens of the U.S. And anything gay is great too. It's upside down, but they have 4 months left and we'll never have to worry about them having control again. Hang on for 4 months just like the Taliban only has to hang on until July of 2011, that's when the idiot in chief announced we'll be withdrawing. Fucking 100% moron.

I'll predict that when the oil starts increasing due to the idiot placing a moratorium on drilling, that'll be the straw that breaks the camels back. Civil unrest will follow. People are sick of this regime and their goofy fucking agenda. Broke and jobless for 18 months, let the gas start rising again due to him and that ought to do it.
