Visiting Central Europe, Vienna, Budapest, etc any tips?

Here's a tip...  Don't tell anybody you are an American.

Canadians are treated much better by the Locals.

London is nothing special. I hear lots of good things about Prague if your looking for girls. The rest sounds great. Poland is fun. Germany is also great but with the extra days might want to check out Switzerland. Have a great trip. 

I know about the Canadian trick. When I did this trip as a young'end I recall some Americans faking that they were Canadian. Some of these places I'm going solo so that's why I ask. Might stay in hostels and team up with a group, did that last time.

My only trip to Europe was a quick business trip to Paris... in and out in 3 days.  The hotel I stayed at near the Charles Degault airport was hit by the concord crash 2 weeks after I left !!!

Don't take any wooden nickels.

A hostel is essentially a hotel designed for youth travelers, but sometimes they'll rent out to OG like myself. You could end up sleeping in a room with up to like 3 others. Dirt cheap.
