earthquakes, colder than normal, hotter than normal, etc etc. what is going on? anybody seeing a trend? i know this has be beaten to a pole but is it possible humans have a positive correlation affect on mother nature?

this is getting ridiculous and will only get worse.  something really bad will happen soon to the united states as we have not had a major major catastrophe happen yet. althogh u can argue the tornadoes.

we keep taking away all of her natural resources and she will take revenge and we deserve every bit of it.

I'd argue Katrina would fall into that category.

My feeling is the west coast quake is next up for the US.

A lot of people are praying for rain down here in the south. Louisiana is on pace for about 19 inches of rain this year with an average rainfall of 64 inches/year. My fear is that we will make all that up and them some as hurricane season started a few days ago. With the temperature of the GOM at thos point we are in for a few good storms this season.

I think there are two main issues right now that are effecting the weather...

    1. Volcano in northern europe...  the ash from the volcano has had to logically decrease the amount of sunlight hitting the earth effecting temperature...

    2. Oil spill, the viscosity of the water effecting surface and deep currents that influences temperature of the ocean...

lets pray for rain in texas please. not so much dallas area but the surrounding areas. it has only rained three times since last november here in houston.  and some parts only once.  we are experiecing 99 degree weather today and 100 tomorrow. both records highs.  it should be around 92 to 94 this time of the year. i cannot wait until august hits at this rate it will be 102 and 105

anybody think sacrificing virgins might bring the rain?

Just don't think that the oil spill has that big of an impact.

All these things have been happening forever.  It seems like it happens more now because of cable t.v., internet, cameras everywhere.  It's terrible.

Much worse now.   Look at the tornadoes.  Summer hasn't even started and we already have broken the record for tornadoes.

not really its more frequent now than it ever has been.  seems like every year its gettting worse and worse. and yes internet does spread news faster but this is getting ridiculous. if you do not see it then i do not know how to help you.

and yes that oil spill has probably something to do with it. we just do not acknowledge that.   we messed up the eco system .  it has huge effects on the weather.
