Wow. A black man assaulting a police officer. First one this year huh? This never happens, ask Scal or Detox. It's always the cops acting inappropriately.
Regarding the Black Lives Matter crew pulling the Kayne West, supposedly Soros backs that movement and also Clinton. They sent them there to disrupt Bernie's event (Bernie's getting a little close to the old hag). We'll be able to tell if they ever pull that sh*t on the old hag.

Not only can't they make logical connections a high school senior could make, they can't help but down the black race for their own shortcomings be it lack of sex or attention from women, or broken marriages etc etc etc. I don't know what it is but their is something bizarre and twisted going on in their life to incessantly attack a race solely because of skin color in 2015.

Race relations was on a 50 year run for the better before BO was a part of the picture. This moronic idiot has basically tainted an entire generation of young Americans, both black and white.

I have a prediction for you scal and others of your ilk... if you honestly think think this type of discourse has some reasonable chance of helping race relations in this country, you are astoundingly mistaken. If this course continues, you can expect a regrowth of the group an any and many other groups and individuals that will take matters in their own hands.

It hurts me to see the race relations as they are today. The sad truth is that MANY simply do not want it to get better. Many simply look for reasons to make the situation worse.
I live in a very small town in which we have Blacks and Whites and Mexicans living in sweet harmony. There has not been a murder here in decades.
Back to the stupid thread... I can honestly say I hope some random thug sticks a knife in Scal's gut as he gets mugged... and he lives. Maybe he will rethink how much support he has for criminals.

Because nothing in that article I read about that incident you posted said anything about race. It said absolutely nothing about race.

You're correct SportsFan, if this continues, retaliation will get ugly. The police are being attacked by people that have a problem with respect & authority, it's that simple. Eventually, the law abiding citizen will take matters in to his own hands if the police become any more neutered.
Also, correct on race relations since 0 became president. I'm in my 50's and imo race relations have been improving for a long time. This is his specialty though, dividing us anyway he can. He's done nothing positive for either race. Black unemployment & poverty are worse than when he came along. Only the uneducated actually believe he's helping them, evidence of him getting 90% of the vote. 45.5M on food stamps for at least 48 months. He should go down as the Food Stamp President.

My question here is what kind of trained and approved officer has his gun taken from him and then receives a beating with said gun?
I would have loved to have been a fly on the rearview mirror for this traffic stop, because something doesn't smell right here. I mean you have to have the reflexes of a cobra stuck on a glacier in Antarctica to have somebody pull your gun from you and then beat you with that gun all while managing to do nothing to the perp in return. And bulls**t he was afraid to use excessive force. When you are getting your asss kicked, the last thing you're thinking of is excessive force.
Sounds like this officer is a complete idiot. Either that or we're not hearing the entire story here. I also consider TheBlaze.com as the joke of a reference point here.

I mentioned this during the Michael Brown shooting. If you are a cop you cannot risk getting into a physical altercation with a suspect because if he does get the upper hand this can happen. The cop is lucky he didn't get shot with his own gun.
As far as being trained to prevent this...boxers and UFC fighters train to fight and half of them still lose.
As far as the Blaze being the source. If you didn't like reading it there you could have googled the cop's name, the suspect's name, or Birmingham police Dept and got the same story.

Police work is hard and dangerous. Police brandishing a gun (without shooting) is usually sufficient to discourage an attack most of the time. So this is a rare case when a officer fails to defend himself. Normally, police often use lethal force as a last resort to protect themselves or others from death or injury.
