Watching the 20/20 special on this kid and his family...  If you don't remember his name is Ethan Couch, 16 year old who drove drunk and killed 4 people and injured others and got out of jail time by a judge who gave him 10 years probation because of the "affluenza" that was made up by a psychiatrist.   The parents are unreal....  never disciplined the kid for anything... allowed him to drive at 13...  Let him have his own 4000 sq ft party house, no rules at all.   Mother is clueless and the father is an arrogant cocksucker.    Hope they all end up burning in hell

    https://www.cbsnews.com/news/father-of-affluenza-teen-arrested-for-impersonating-police/

Did you know that the dad was arrested for impersonating a police officer and was cited and released after simply posting a $2,500 bond..... That's it, no jail time, other fines, fees, probation, nothing.....

S#!t, you get more than that for jaywalking......

In the interview last night the dad said that during an arrest in his teens/early 20's he told a cop "I make more in a week than you make in a year"     Some people should really not be allowed to reproduce.

Now the kid is the subject of a man hunt as they think he fled the country with his mom after failing to report to his P.O.

Hope the Marshalls just shoot first and ask question later

I read there was a picture of him at a party with alcohol, which would probably violate his probation and send him to jail.

The Feds are hunting a 'little kid' "probation violator"  and his mommy...and daddy's worth $40m

Yes ClubDirt, this should be interesting, especially to see how long it takes to apprehend this Ma Barker, and her Cisco the kid son

That would be nice, but with the money the family has they would probably get a shrink to say he's insane or retarded or something and he would end up in a fancy rehab facility.   In a perfect world, he would have been fried in a Texas-sized electric chair after the original crime.

That judge should be disbarred. Horrible miscarriage of justice. They should examine his bank accounts and find out if there has been any substantial "gifts" recently given to him.

Hey Hey! They caught that little pr!ck and his See-You-Next-Tuesday B!tch of a mom in Mexico. Hopefully the definition of "Affluenza" is changed to mean "Widening Of The Sphincter Hole"

Either fill him with bullets, or leave him and the mother in the nastiest mexican prison they can find.    That's the only justice for this piece of trash

I guarantee you that judge got paid.

True story - I know a local ahole, when he was in his 20's he was dealing cocaine and he got raided by DEA in his home... cops in full combat gear.  They found a few kilos and automatic weapons, and a bunch of cash.  His folks are rich.  He got 10 years probation, and continued to be an ahole.  Everybody here knows the judge got paid and she did not even run for re-election.

It is simply amazing to me what some people will do for some money.  I love money, but I would never do something that is so wrong to get paid.

We live in a 99% corrupt world 9698. It's a sad fact but having morals or integrity have been removed from our society. Look at the people around you, everyone wants to look like a pirate instead of a respectable human being... Have you heard the term "lady-like" in the last 20 years? If you asked the typical 20 year old female what it means they wouldn't have a clue... They'd probably say that lady-like means all their tattoos are hidden...

Rotten spoiled kid should have been thrown in jail for at least 15 years for causing that accident killing 4 people.

    What a miscarriage of justice!

Not if they try him as an adult....  but they keep talking about him turning 19 soon.   Is 18 not considered an adult in Texas?

No and no.  Even if tried as an adult, the max he can get is 120 days.  And 18 is not an adult in Texas.   Thats what I gather from the news story I watched

But the mother is facing something like 2 to 10 years for helping him.

who the darn knows how they do things in texas but i assume he was a minor when he committed the crime so he's likely governed by the rules in juvenile court.  i think they can bring him to adult court now, but he still may get the benefit of being a juvenile at the time of the crime, meaning there is only so much they can do to him.

i would guess that 18 is an adult everywhere, but what matters is your age at the time of the crime.  but again, this is texas so who knows what kind of backwards rules they have
