Few would quarrel with stashing the stuff in your wife's luggage. There is no possible bad outcome there. However, I think you are a sick human being to consider subjecting your children to the potential humiliation of being caught with contraband in their suitcases. damnit ken, where were you back in june with this idea? i've seen a movie about drug runners swallowing condoms full of heroine and then having them leak causing all sorts of health problems. but that's the beauty of cannabis edibles. if you stash them in condoms, feed 4-5 of them to your kids and the condom breaks, they are getting a quality edible product and a good high. i'm sure the latex will work its way out of their system in time.
anyway, maybe we'll give this a shot for next year's vacation.

as a disclaimer, while i am a huge, huge proponent of legalizing marijuana for a lot of reasons, i've probably smoked twice in the last 8 years. i killed it in school and hit it pretty hard for the 10 years following that but not so much anymore. so, my tolerance isn't quite what it used to be.

since this thread has returned, i guess i should give my review.
we went to seattle in june. nice city. great weather, particularly given how friggin hot it is in the south for about 1/3rd of the year.
i was able to break away from the family and find a cannabis shop although it was a much longer walk than i was anticipating. so, i go in, there were about 6 employees, all had that glazed stoner look in their eyes. i was limited to edibles although they had plenty of traditional marijuana. before the trip, a friend told me to take it easy as you can get carried away with edibles. and i don't really use marijuana anymore so i was a little concerned about that. i didn't need my 11 year old having to give me cpr back in the hotel. anyway, my friend said to buy edibles in 5 gram quantities only because of the potency. so i go in and they only sell edibles in 10 grams quantities. i ask the aldy if that's too potent and she looks at me like i'm a box. so, i buy some apple flavored piece of candy and a caramel.
fiorst, they both tasted like garbage but i'm not buying this stuff for the taste. second, they were fine, but a little weak. i either got bad advice or my tolerance is still so high from all the smoking i did in my 20's and 40's, that the normal rules don't apply to me. i did not try and bring any home. i remember the old days when moved to california and just put a bag of weed in my pocket before i went to the airport. no issues. i wouldn't do that today.

Why? I smoke weed so most the law does is fine me. Go right ahead. Poor state needs all the revenues they can generate so gov can take another trip to China for junk for his store mardens . just because the feds made alcohol legal doesn't give em an excise to make pot illegal.

Sorry about the poor timing. I had my own distractions back in June.
The kiddies will be older next year, so if they're at least 6 or 7, Amsterdam presents enhanced opportunity.
The wife will be older too. I used to stuff Cubans in that luggage back when it mattered. No luck there.

No Jefferson was from Virginia at the time my ancestor was to busy building ships in haverill mass. Casco bay Maine and after the war st John nb . but so glad Jefferson made the trip for a faster growing strain. Tobacco cost money back then hemp was everywhere and the flowers were not used on construction of ships.
