informed and knowledgable???....the dude has picked the wrong team in the nba finals 6 out of the last 7 years or sumthin........and nba is supposedly one of the more predictable,star-driven pro sports and shud be fairly clear cut at that point in the season.

About 5-6 years ago,Stephen A was on the espn show SportsReporters on a Sunday morning. This was during the college football season and on the previous Sat. some top-ranked team was trailing late in the game and had the ball 1st and goal with less then a minute and needing a FG to win.The QB handed the ball off and was fumbled and the #1 team lost. The Question for the panel was should a team kick a FG on 2nd/3rd down to avoid a Turnover like this case.Stephen A was the first to answer and he said of-course you should kick on 2nd down because even if you miss, you will have 2 more chances to kick the FG.Everyone on the panel looked at him like he had just dropped a F-bomb.He doesn't know sports and he probably is 1 of the dumber on-air talents at the WorldWide Leader. He he was White and talked in Eubonics like he does,he wouldn't get within 20 feet of a live mike.

He's a living breathing stereotype of the dumb guy who uses a lot of big words incorrectly. And for god sakes man, you're on tv and radio, learn how to pronounce the word "ask".

I don't know if there is anyone in American sports media more knowledgeable in basketball than the great Stephen A. Smith. Dude knows his football too. I would love for him to be an MBA general manager some day. I listen to him daily and am awed by his extensive knowledge and how well he can articulate his arguments.
He also has great knowledge of politics. A well rounded individual and a credit to the sports scene in America.
I'm thinking the OP is Kellyanne Conway. There seem to be a lot of "alternative facts" in this statement.....

Stephen A had Charles Oakley on the show today. Stephen A has known Oakley for over 20 years. Stephen A is an A-lister within the world of pro sports. He knows Allen Iverson.
