Should bars be allowed to have sports betting kiosks in them?

I am own the side of the bar owners.

If its legal in casinos it should be legal in bars/restuarants. There isnt a valid argument they shouldnt be allowed.....

The funny thing is that the only company I know of that operates in a bar is William Hill, which is in alot of casinos anyways. I'm going to be pissed if they pass this bs. It really doesn't effect the major casinos as much, because it's all locals that use these kiosks. You have to go down to one of the casinos to sign up for it. So it's not like I can just walk into a PT's and have live action without an account being set up.

This whole thing is stupid. What's the difference if William Hill gets my money through their kiosk or casino sportsbook? It goes to the same place. I used to go to the Red Rock. I set up an Internet account, and it was absolutely horrible. I used it up until William Hill came to town. Their iPhone app is like having an offshore book in my pocket. It's great.

I completely agree. 

The worst part about stations bs was having to get a manager to sign off on all transactions and their connectivity was horrid. Very few money lines in cbb, their live betting connection was always to slow to take advantage during football season. William Hill is 20x better in every aspect. I actually stopped going to station casinos all together after that mess they call a betting app.

I live here and don't see the problem. There is no middleman and a few years back someone pitched the idea to station casino's I think it was and they said it won't work...not feasible, won't generate enough revenue...now they all want to cry foul because someone took the idea and made it work.

You don't think that's going to be next? The kiosks are basically the sportsbook app you're referring to. They finally found a fast and efficient way for sports betters to not have to deal with going to a casino and the big boys aren't happy with it.

no chance bro. Those mobile betting apps are too high a source of revenue for the casinos to pass up on. No chance that legislature won't be swayed enough to let us keep those. As far as I know there is no measures trying to ban mobile apps for now anyway. If anything mobile gaming is broadening in Nevada, as witnessed by the opening of ultimatepoker app you can now play with on your phones

There is a poker app here now? I only thought the three local casinos had apps Hill, cantor and stations.
