RIP Saw JB with Rory Galllagher under card back in the day in a tiny venue in Youngstown Ohio..  The Tomorrow Club..  couple hundred people.. That was a guitar showcase with those two shows..  Both played side by side for last 1//2 hour..  peace

Be careful with the axe Eugene.

RIP

Never understood the hype. Obviously he could shred but if Freeway Jam or Beck’s Bolero comes on Classic Vinyl I always end up changing the station

Genius guitar player. Remember him with the Yardbirds my very early days of music and rock and roll. Had an older step brother who was a drummer in a local band, turned me on to rock and roll before I hit puberty, TMI! Ha! But seriously Clapton, Page, Beck, all former members of the Yardbirds, can't do much better than that! R.I.P. Jeff!

One of my favorites of his. Music to chill by. Starts slow then really starts to cook

@ArtSchlichterJr

 Envy you Sir. That show would be Guitar overload.

Never saw Rory but went to his tribute festival in hometown of Ballyshannon.

He did so much touring in Europe which led to not getting the respect he deserved in the states.

Very true underappreciated..  But his style was so clean..  A poor mans Dickie Betts style..  The king of clean..peace_5

Saw Jeff Beck once as a teenager..unreal soloist guitar player..I remember only one song that was sung.."Going down, going down " didn't realize what a legend guitar player he was AT the time.
