Lottery players are based on true fantasy and dream world. I could see someone getting addicted to video poker by hitting a 4 of a kind or a Royal flush or people getting addicted to black jack winning some hands and wanting to chase that feeling of winning.
But lottery players for the most part have never won the big one to get addicted, but they are addicted to the idea of being able to end their life as they know it and become a millionaire. Anything other than actually working for it

Makes me sick to see the gov. gladly push a ridiculously juiced form of gambling which if won is reduced again if you want a full payout and then cut in half to pay the taxes. Meanwhile many of us are not allowed to legally bet on a football team, play poker online, or roster a fantasy lineup.

Why is this money grab $2 a shot? The casino ups the limit on the crap/roulette table to choke off the small fry and increase the handle for t he dealers and the profit of the table.Where is Joe Powerball going to go and does the states need to sweat that dollar?

A friend of mine won the New York State Lottery back in 91 and he still plays the Daily Pick and he's all in on the bigger Powerballs.

Well 415 million and for wat it's worth. The two dollar bill in a strip club is not coming to get a call back...... Sorry at this rate is nearing a 1 to one hit. If such chance exists 286 million to one. And the prize becomes 600 million the oddds become positive expectations to gamblers. For the money becomes equal to the purchase of every combination. Su h time to get the chance of even to hedge fund that can move fortunes......
