That's rough Examiner.  One of my uncles lost his shore house in Little Egg Harbor.  Another has a boat on his front lawn but no damage to the house.

We were forunate enough to not even lose power.  We live in North Jersey and there was minimal damage to our neighborhood.

It's crazy that people in Morris County still don't have power.

Slobbasaurus thanks for dropping in   Yeah I know everywhere has problems it is way out of people's imagination, but if you noticed around the world all having problems. If other countries can make it , we will make it too ( United States of America ) as long as the people's are reaching out and do what they can for others WE WILL GET THROUGH anything. 
Glad to hear you and yours are safe and sound  yes there still lots of other are in needs with everything, people's begging for help

Even Sunday didn't work out well I'm very happy that am up around 11 units still . Tonight  I am just going with 7 units that way I still get to do something for the people's if thing didn't go the way I expect it

Thing didn't turn out the way I would likes it be but unfortunately Im able to have little extra from what I made last week to returned for third trips trying to help.  I just went to costco and spend another $450 for toilets papers, milk, cereals, breads, lots of water and juices for the kids.  Now I feel much better and relieve right after I drop it off 
People's still in needs with blankets, and anything that can keep them warm... Thank you all

Exactly why this country is so fucked up.
Warnings for a week of "The Perfect Storm", and then 2-3 days after all the fucking idiots begging for food and water, really, you couldn't somehow secure a supply of food and water with the weeks notice if you were dumb enough to stay?
Now if were an all of a sudden hit with out warning, then sure, but come on man

That's the right idea. DO NOT give to the Red Cross. That money goes to food and water. These people need fuel, heat, electricity and infrastructure which the RC is for the most part, not providing. If you are close to these afflicted areas, drive there and hand your donation directly to them yourself like Examiner's wife did.

  I realized immediately after I gave $60 to the Red Cross a few weeks ago that it was a HUGE mistake, as they use a lot of the donations to pay their own salaries instead of sending it ALL directly to the victims.  Instead, I should have given my donation directly to the Toms River Township or the Salvation Army.   

I thought the NFL asking for funds being sent to the Red Cross made their organization completely legitimate, but after researching, I am skeptical that the money will be pocketed by the top brass. 

Oh well, live and learn.  And I hope these people on the Atlantic shore rebuild their lives.
