It's simple with the billions of people in the world there are millions with horrible taste whether it be for shitty rap music, domestic vehicles, K-mart, etc......what comes with that are 1 hit wonders sort a speak. So basically there's enough fn idiots rt now who delve into reality shows 1 being Jersey shore, with huge ratings and exposure (undeserved at that). It's inevitable and it will continue I believe.

They are only in the press because they are all just train wrecks waiting to happen and the cameras want to be there when it does. It's called "Dirt TV" and started long before the currently airing shows on TV.

They make more money off of "Dirt" then they do off of something constructive therefore it pollutes the airwaves.

I prefer the Science, Military, or the History channels myself.

I watch American Idol every year ONLY in the 1st part of the season to watch the terrible singers.  Its better than most comedies and changes every week for a month.
