need some advice

hi there new here and have a question. Im into handicapping so thats how i bet but i want to maximise my profit so i want to add more sports i bet on. I read that you should only specialise in 1 or maybe 2 sports and i understand the thought with that but how negative could it be betting on say 4 different sports? i also read that you should specialise in a certain market, i enjoy and do ok with over/under bets so thats what i like to do, if i chose the 4 sports i want to bet on which are soccer/nfl/nba and just stuck to the over/under market of those sports could that work for me? 1 more thing, if im going to put in work to all those sports with the over/under markets wouldnt i get a good opinion on the score spread aswell with all the studying? i just feel like alot of the same criteria i will use will work for both over/under and game results. Im sorry ive put so much in this post its all i wanted to say. i hope to get a response, thanks brad

college football is all I do.......along with the occasional nfl wager.

Pick Two you like and stick with them

Do you really think you can outsmart the bookmakers in 4 different sports?  Do you know how hard some people work to win at college football?  They study it 40+ hours week for half the year.  Soccer is year round and there are 10,000s of players so the workload there is endless.  

I think the first 2 made it clear but I'll reiterate there's way too much research to bet more than 2 sports well. 

Thanks for the responses guys. I just want to ask jmw, so all you bet on majority is college football. Do you bet whatever market that stands out to you or do you stick to spreads or over/under markets? Just curious as you dedicate all your time to college football so would that mean you bet on both markets in a game or just one. Thanks.

I only bet ML on MLB and NHL

I have math models that give +results for each sport but the NBA model doesn't work so well with WNBA.Do a little run with the 2014 season of college football/basketball with your pro models and compare results.

I play CFB,CBB,soccer totals,MLB( but I get sick of it win or lose),WNBA,Tennis...then play NBA & NFL for fun..I just think they I too hard to put a lot of money in.Had 60% in NFL,but have had under 50% too..It all depends how much time u got to put into it bc for me w watching games its at least 30 hrs and I get sick of it sometimes sadly it's almost all I know that and the gym business .There is no magic formula,but putting time in then when u puf time in and lose its discouraging.,Best of Luck
