we'll be here soon enough in this country...those who are behind, jobless, near bankrupcty will be allowed to walk away for a few months from paying their mortgage
so what happens to someone like me or like many others who have their jobs and are on time with payments...what is the incentive for us to continue to pay our mortgages?
step outside the box and really think about this one...what happens if everyone decides to take a mortgage holiday?

Rent KOAJ. Mortgage= overrated. Why should I buy a $600k home in Jersey that seems more likely to be worth $550k a year or 2 from now? But you're still paying as if its worth $600k!

i looked at rentals a few months ago and there is nothing out there
and trust me, we're not paying 600 or 550...i factor in a 20% 2009 decay in prices then less any major work that needs to be done to the house before bidding...some think its an insulting offer, i think its realistic
