Your telling me zero but from the definition and what is in bold I think its $500
If it is indeed zero than $1250 is right in my first question....
However if it is $500 than $1750 is right in my first question...

I think that I know why you are stuck. Lets talk about it.
The first statement is basically telling you that you must wait out whatever period of time your Elimination Period is.
The second statement was used with the example. Specifically, if the EP is 90 days, you're 4 months away from benefits:
90 days (3 months) + 30 days (full month) = 4 months time elapsed before Benefits are received.
I think what you're assuming is that there is retroactive pay (EI - getting the full amount, after the EP). This is not the case with unemployment. This is the original agreement I had with Kursh...you get NOTHING, no back pay. If you're still unemployed on day 15 (start of 3rd week), then you start 'earning' benefits.
When it comes to the other form of benefits mentioned, I asked a friend who works for SF. She pointed me towards the two phrases I posted. Looks like they are similar -- No back pay, payments happen after the waiting period is satisfied.

Might help if you just use a calendar. So if it starts Feb 1st you black out all of Feb. Then your payments start in March. But you have to be sick the whole month of March, so in April they will pay you for the month of March but not Feb. And every month beyond if you are still sick.
