I immediately thought of covers when i watched that Meryl Streep speech last night

While i agreed with few things she said, It was a totally unnecessary attack on Trump, No wonder he came out swinging on twitter this morning.

Slob, The other thing which makes me chuckle is, I love how these Hollywood elitist's are against Trump because of his so called bad personality and how he treats minorities and women badly etc etc yet since when was Hollywood holier than thou? Wasn't there a report a few years back where it said women in hollywood still get paid significantly less men and then you throw in the lack of minority actors who win awards, You could argue they are more racist/sexist than Trump.

I consider myself a moderate Republican.  

She lost me when she started knocking football and MMA.....    The list of $hit Hollywood has been making lately only wishes it was half as entertaining

How about if actors act & singers sing... Who gives a f about their political stance. They don't live in the real world.... No one stood up and disrespected Obama at such a forum from the right, why the double standard? In a way I'm glad of some of their positions, I won't go to a Sean Penn movie or Meryl Streep or whoever gets up their and runs their mouth.

Hollywood liberals like Streep have very boring identity politics without recognizing they are part of the problem with their exorbitant wealth and privilege. She is right about Trump being an a$$hole who gets what he wants by being a callous manipulator and opportunist, but she doesn't mention that the Democratic Party heroes like Obama and Clinton do the same thing. They just do it with a veneer of respectability in how they speak. Obama is the only president in US history to lead us through 2 terms of consecutive war around the world. He also led a huge buildup of the police and security state. He deported more people than even Bush, who is reviled by liberals.

Trump lost with people with low incomes, so I don't understand this argument.

 I didn't vote for Trump or Clinton.......but I'm appalled at the immaturity of those that supported Clinton. They're acting like a bunch of little kids. Grow up! Nobody protested this vehemently when Owebama was elected.....twice......... & the USA survived 8 years of Owebama.....I'm sure we'll survive Trump.
