Just think if she owned a gun. Could have grabbed it after the first attack and prevented getting pummeled again and again and again.
Granted, it wouldn't have helped from the get go because he surprised her, but this jacka$$ left her to go look around the house and ended up beating her again and again.
Folks might not be a fan of conceal and carry, but you are an idiot (man or woman) if you don't have at least one gun in your house for personal protection. Maybe it doesn't save your life.....but what if it does?

I try to tell a few of the alone moms I know to have firearms in the house. Won't listen.

Mom....dad....whoever. You can't have a gun stapled to your body at all times, but I have one in my bedroom and one I keep hidden in the kitchen. Doesn't guarantee I don't get killed by someone who breaks in my home, but if it gives me a even a 20% better chance of surviving, it's worth it.
And yes, I understand the need for safety when kids are involved. I don't have any and my guns go in the safe when I have visitors.
