Dominican Republic, which I've traveled to 11x, not the touristy areas, deep in the bush, shares the island with Haiti.  DR feels 3rd world, but Haiti is a whole nother level .... when flying in, you can see a different color of landscape b/c the bark is stripped off the trees.  Barbeque got some big boy decisions to make if he's gonna make a difference.

 Whatever perceived power he claims to have over Haiti should be short lived. That’s my guess. There’s other rival gangs waiting for their time to action. I got my money on Johnson Andre aka Izo. He has some strong resources that should help him take out bbq.
