the last trade using this system would have been a sell 12/3 at 7am....see what im talking about?

Am i right in assuming that you have to watch these movements very closely during the day to see when they cross each other?

Yes the crosses come can at any given moment but they are usually good trades between 6-8am  daily and 12am-4am...and i try to stick to the USD pairs

So we have a buy signal at on 12/2 at 19:00 and then a sell signal....12/3 7am

you may see different times on your chart because of where you are.........

well if its below 35 its a good sign for a buy and above 70 its a sell...but we are looking for the combo of the SMA # and the cross

couple questions:

 is there anything to do to try and anticipate which way these lines are going to move?

is there a way to see what the prices were at on those specific points when the lines crossed?

In your decemeber thread you said one of the combos is going for 15 pip? What is that

Theres no way to try and anticipate movement...stock markets and world events drive the market

 

You can scale down to 1 min chart but you really cant tell just what time it came

a pip would be EUR going from 1.48552 to 1.48562

why aren't these charts up to the minute? When i put it on 1 min the last update is yesterday at 14:00.

in a mini account a pip is worth  $1 and in a full size account they are worth $10

in the box with the price of each pair is there a drop down box to select # of lots of $ VALUE?

I got out of the .web and went to the pro one but yes there is the lots and value boxes

Ok so youd want 2 lots

and we'd go for 15-20 pips...depending on which pair that would be a $400-$500 trade after we hit our limit....or $40-$50 in a mini account

sorry i went back to the web one because i couldnt figure out hwo to add the lines. Anways, what do you mean by go for 15-20 pips. I know the pip is the change in value like you said above. So we are try to get the price to go up by 15-20?
