Favorite kind of Whiskey?

In light of the favorite beer thread i thought it would do fav whiskey...Crown Royal for me soooo good

Mines always will be Gentlemen Jack..

Good Irish Whiskey.

Bushmills or Jameson

Goose, have you ever had Black Bush?

I have.  It is Heaven on Earth.

I hate wiskey that has that gross chocolate  taste to it like R&R or McCormicks and whatever else. Also, I hate sweet tasting brands like Makers Mark and Fireball. I kind of also like Bullett though. One rule of thumb is I never mix my wiskey with cola gross. Only amateur drinkers do that.  A nice bright beer on the side with it  makes me happy.

40 Creek

Makers Mark and Crown Royal!

Makers Mark.

Credit the Distributor, Jim Beam. they WILL NOT increase the production due to the demand.  They hare holding firm.

Seagrams VO Gold..............not a bourbon guy. I like Crown but not for mixing...........Pendletons is OK too.

Templeton rye

If you ever get a chance, try some Hibiki. It's 12-year-old whisky from Japan, and tastes very much like Scotch.

Any top shelf bourbon... duh.

Gonna be in Nashville in a month

gonna try JD and Jim Beam

Actually, Jim Beam isn't half bad for its price.

I'm from kentucky, which means nothing, but listen anyways.. Eagle creek rare is my favorite for the price, about $30 a 1/5.. But Evan Williams is the best bargain whiskey on the planet.

If you go up in price from eagle creek, I like makers, then woodford, and I drink blantons when money is no object ($60 750ml)

And everybody should get a bottle of willets... Just for the cool bottle, but it's a pretty good value too.

Woodford Reserve   Best bang for the bucks

Another shot of whiskey, can't stop looking at the door

Woodford is great. Four Roses another quality bourbon

this

There is no such thing as "bad" Jim Beam

In my stomach.

Jayssss, sup boss?  Stopping in Pittsburgh on the way?  I just moved to Dallas, stopped in Nashville on the way and it was great.

I generally go with bourbon.  Maker's Mark is the go-to, and then mix in some rye's on the side, TX is a good blended whisky brewed in Ft Worth that I've been drinking here.  You should swap out the JB or JD for some MM IMO.  Nothing wrong with Jim Beam's basic bourbon though... especially since they offer a plastic bottle version for those tailgates where they fine you for glass bottles
