Once marijuana gets legalized in Colorado, I'm hoping a ripple effect will occur and that more states will do it.
I've done hours of research on this subject over the past several years. There are many people that need the medicinal benefits of this plant. Furthermore I feel it is a crime for this plant to remain illegal when there are millions of people every year dieing from the use of cigarettes, prescription drugs, and alcohol. Yes... millions. Then again, there are lots of people making a TON of money from these things, so I guess that's okay 
Even if it doesn't happen this year, it will eventually. One of these days, the American public will wake up to realize that they've been lied to for years. The fact is, many people already know this.
Marijuana and it's users have been wrongly stigmatized for years, and it's coming to an end. Let's help complete the circle. It needs to be legalized.
