It doesn't offend me, but it's clearly in bad taste.  If I'm the owner of the restaurant I sure as hell wouldn't want my drinks associated with the death of over 900 people.  From a business standpoint it's just stupid.

It is very poor marketing. They couldn't think of anything else? Why on earth would you associate your business with a cult and 900 people getting killed?

Yup, I'm offended.

I must admit that this bugs me.  If anyone actually inquired into what happened at Jonestown you would know that the there wasn't a single child and many of the residents were not willing participants.  In other words what happened there was mass murder and we are going to make a joke about this horrible mark in human history is pretty sad.  Should they be allowed to do this... YES... would I ever eat there after reading this BS... NO!

I have to say, it's pretty off-putting lol.  Perhaps if you removed the little "to die for!" sticker poking out from the glass it wouldn't be as bad...

Wasn't a single child?  There were between 260-300 children murdered. I agree I would not eat there either after reading this crap.

So, for example, if you guys were to wander into that restaurant having not seen the billboard at all until the cover of the menu is dropped on your table and you of course read it.

There just so happens to be an owner/manager or Co advertising person that is working or enjoying a beverage nearby. You're telling me that you wouldn't lean over and say, "Hey ballsack, you're using mass tragic suicide to sell your fucking juice... you oughta your mind?"
