I couldn't agree more with Vanzack, every person listed on this thread has worked their ass off to get to where they are. I didn't see one lottery winner up there and last I checked thats one of the only ways to have money handed to you. Just because their craft is not a typical career choice it doesn't make it any less legit.
 
Don't mind the haters Vanzack, money is money and a win is a win....thats a tough concept for people that lose alot and get sore about it.

You are correct, but I think he was referring to manual labor...aka a "real job" that involves sweating and being tired at the end of the day....

i actually feel that mr obama is a lazy man and is very disinterested in anything other than speaking and campaigning.
i mowed lawns and had a paper route and basically busted my ass all my life since.
mr obama strikes me as aperson who has slid through on charm and race as well.  hard work beyond preparing for cool motivating speeches is not his bag in the past as well as now.
i have yet to see a series of prior co workers of our president extol what a studly worker he was.
the man talks well and inspires......the substance however is lacking.

most hard working people know how to spot another driven individual, kind of like gaydar but for workaholism. i just see a man who loves to be loved and devotes himself to being admired for his charming delivery of message that often are tailored to suit the desires of his audiences.  i dont see someone who spends all night hashing out strategies to be bi partisan or address tough issues.

nor address tough issues with grit and determination.  his handling of the debt ceiling negotiations was a huge open debate about our debt issues and he opened up negotiations  by demonizing his opponent publicly which is just incompetent .  he proposes recently some grand bill with out a concrete layout as to what to do, just generalities and goes on the campaign trail speaking about class warfare and demanding a stimulus for what many believe is a failing social agenda he desires.  other people do his work write his bill....twist the elbows....plan specifics.....hes an ideas guy....hard work is for others.


thats all not uncommon for politicians to be like him by the way.  i just feel deep in my heart he has gone places that passed him along based on affirmative action criteria.  show me his transcripts...essays and grades including sat scores and ill retract everything  if he looks legit  and hate myself for nasty thoughts a charming man with such wonderful work ethic.

bush was another odd president.  he did work hard in his way but he was a failure.  got in to yale based on money.  drug and alcohol abuser.  hid out and lazied his way through the national guard.  partied on daddy's money.  drove the rangers in to the ground with incompetence.  did the same to our country with crony capitalism and poor decisions.
now obama continues many of bushs mistakes in his own fashion.
bush was handed this presidency by the powers that be rather than his own hard work or his record.  all hat and no damn cattle.  equally as bad as mr obama in my eyes.  a failure because of priveledge and not substance

i want the jerry rice of world leaders to save our country and be such a good example to the world of how to reflect what is best in our huge diverse country.......hard work......ethics.......common sense........results.
