The same way they out out odds for the Oscars or Grammys.
99.99% do not know who the winner will be beforehand but both have already been predetermined and in both cases, someone already knows who won.
Despite that, given the masses who bet, books can comfortably take on action to outweigh the very tiny handful of action who will get to bet with inside info. That's why steam betting works well with wrestling and award shows.

I agree with you apple. I don't know how someone can place a bet on a match that has a predetermined winner.
I'm sure I've done it without knowing by placing wagers on European soccer matches. Match fixing in soccer is too prevalent. It's ridiculous
