Looking for some advice on the best way to build my banckroll. I started with a small amount and have been able to build a bit using some parlays. Now I know parlays are not always the way to go. Until I have built it ebough my bets remain fairly small, there fore I'm not getting great payouts. I figure slow and steady is the way to go.
Any advice?

try some less risky ventures. the problem with sports betting is either you lose it all, or you win 90%.
you can invest in the stock market, and if you "lose" your bet, you can limit it to only losing 10% or whatever your risk profile is.
you can play poker, and have the ability to fold before losing all your money (some of the time, still risky).
or you can cap games and hope for the best. but if you're looking to build a bankroll, i'd suggest getting out of sports betting for a better risk adjusted plan.
best way to build a bankroll: don't risk losing all your money on a free throw.
i'm not gambler's anonymous, shouldn't be saying these things here. i don't sports bet, but you can do what you want. But Henry-Lilly is right, there's only one way to build your bankroll in sports betting: Win. if there was a strategy that worked, believe me, we'd all be doing it

Off the top of my head, these are probably the two most important ways to protect and grow your bankroll.
limit your exposure What you don't want to
do is "shotgun" your action where you might have 5-10 games going at
once. This eats up juice and eats away at your bankroll. By this I mean do not play too many games at one session. Limit your action to 1 solid play or at most 2 or 3 plays during one session. A session being defined as one of the following time periods: early afternoon, late afternoon, early evening, late evening.
Do not lay big chalk You may be tempted to take a 4 point favorite at -200 money line because that's all they need to do is win the game. Don't do it. If you are not that confident in that team to lay the 4 points, it's not a solid play for you to make.
