Have anyone here at the Covers forum had the swine flu?. Just wondering. Seems like it is everywhere.. i have not experienced it myself.

My whole family has it.  I live in a different city so luckily I have caught it.

my little brother got it....he loved it....got an xbox 360 out of the ordeal

My parents felt bad for him and got it for him to take his mind off of it. He got it right when swine flu was the kiss of death in the news.

It sure seemed like my daughter had it, but they tell me no.  There's a fair amount of it around us. I know a few people who have had it, and it really doesn't seem to be any different than any other bout of flu.  Indeed, our neighbor said it was not as bad as the regular flu usually is.  Who knows.

Mainroad - Yeah seems like it is just like flu, mind you those who have tried to have a real seasonal flu we remember it. It is bad...........

had the flu in oct for 6-7 days .. self medicated myself.. all better ..

I work in a hospital.  A few of my co workers got it and lots of patients get it in the ICU.  Kicks your ass for about 3 days.  I wouldn't sweat it.  I just take vitamin C,D and some immune boosting herbs and wash hands frequently.

Yep..me too. Kicked my fanny for 3 solid days but I lived.

Now I have the built in antibodies.

I had it.  Couldn't move or eat for 3 days.  Just slept and sweat it out and was fine

Guess you haven't heard of the new "Goat flu"....released soon by the pharmaceutical industry.

Better question is has anybody actually tested positive in a lab test for the virus?  There was a report by CBS that as many of 90% of Swine Flu likely diagnosis were actually not swine flu

The swine flu is like any other flu.  It seems like people are recovering quite nicely from it, so why is the media making a big deal out of it?
