Thanks for the tips. We are budgeting $6,000.00 for the trip (airfare, hotel, meals and tickets - not including other purchases). From everything I have seen and read that is definately doable. I have checked with AAA (we are members) and I have found better deals than them.
We went last year and I was more impressed with Sea Worlds christmas that Disney.. GO on a FRIDAY about 2 weeks before christmas, thats when we went, The crowds was very low and it was awesome.
Heres another tip,, Sea World has all you can eat for about $30adult $15 kid. I bought my wife and daughter one they give you a wristband. We just sat outside and my wife brought food out then went back for more. Nobody knows if you bought it or not. Alot of the food places have 5 or 6 different lines and outdoors eating areas.
I highly recommend Sea World, check the website for schedule,, they have a wonderful xmas display,, they make it snow,, ice skating show,,fire works etc.. the also have a couple of kick ass rollercoasters. we also got the tickets for 4 of us for about 100 bucks. you have to google discounts cause they usually have something going on. they also give you a second day free if you are staying close and want to go again
Went down to disney world this last July. Took the kids (11,6, and 3) and had a blast. Stayed on disney at All-Star Sports Resort. Didnt care too much for the meal plan or the food itself.
A must do is the new Star Wars ride at Hollywood Studios park. Very neat.
Went to all parks and and would have to say had the most fun at hollywood and animal kingdom. Magic kingdom was a freakin zoo at night, could not move and people were bitchy.
Do the fast pass at the parks and use to your advantage.
