US Players with sportsbook accounts. Need crash course on BITCOIN

Good day gentlemen....

I currenly have a Heritage sportsbook account.

I would like to get information about this form of deposit/payouts. How exactly does this work? I thought bitcoin was one website, but when I asked a Heritage rep to give me more info, she gave me about six or seven different bitcoin names I can use to fund and get my payouts.

I was reading online to get educated and some forums mention you need some type of "wallet" to be like a "intermediate" way to get your deposits or payouts so you don't get "tracked" or something.

I would really like some help here.

I am really tired of waiting three full weeks to get my winnings through Heritage in a check.

They said with Bitcoin I can have this literally in days.
