I have a trip there over Presidents’ Day weekend to the Four Seasons. Never been to CR before but I assume it’s a safe place? Especially on a nice resort?

There have been a few Americans killed recently but that happens in our cities also
I hear it’s not like it was 10 years ago as far as safety but that’s just reading stuff online , I don’t even go to Mexico anymore

Gentlemen, if you are interested in good people running a book, I am friends/neighbours with a women who is living with one of the high ups in Pinnacle Sports. He used to work out of Curacao but the long distance love was not working. Good guy and I know the people around them.....my wife and I get together with them socially a few times a year. Very solid people. He resides in Canada now.
Not sure if they are available to Americans and if it is a good book by reputation, but this seems to be a good thing I would think> https://www.pinnacle.com/en/promotions/arbitrage-friendly

The Four Seasons is in Liberia, Guanacaste your book is in San Jose, Sabana Sur next to the Am / Pm.......you will not have any problems ever in Costa Rica unless your an asshole....it's one of the safest if not safest places I ever lived....there is a reason everyone you see on the streets say Pura Vida.....I doubt you'll have any problems collecting you can't stay in business that long if you don't pay.......like I said earlier if you need a book I can put you in touch with someone that can set you up while your there. You need to land in San Jose or SJO airport your way far from all the action. Where your staying is all Tourist and top Vacation spot......
