If the court rules in NJ favor then they will open it up to every state in the USA. So NJ will not be the only state with sports betting. Remember NJ is saying that the law is unjust so the court would have to rule the law is void. I don't think the court will rule in favor of NJ for that reason. The only way NJ gets sports betting if they ignore the law like states are doing with the federal pot laws. Make sports betting as part of their lottery and make you bet on three or more games on parlay tickets in order to win your bet. Most pro and college leagues are against betting single games so this could be a way around the leagues objections.
