Bovada is a scam!!!!!!!!!

I have been with this site Since they changed over from bodog and was a bodog customer since 2004.  So let me get to the point.  Last night I go 5-0 live bets in NBA.  This isn't the first time I wagered live in NBA but it will be the last.  I hit them for $2500 total on the 5 wagers and to my disgust this morning I log in to check any line movement and notice my account is short $2500.  So I check my wager history and all bets that were posted winners last night are now saying "outcome canceled". So I give bovada a call and ask wtf is going on.  The lady said they canceled all of those wagers based on the fact of a line discrepancy.  I have lost several times on live betting (more than I have won) and did they ever credit my account on a line discrepancy???  Of course not.  Apperantly if you win they can choose to cancel the bet that they offered with the line they set.  They accepted my wagers, and posted them as wins after the games.  Even credited my account with the funds.  This is just wrong on so many levels and now I have to cancel my account with this corrupt site.  Their lines and juice are awful anyways, I just like to line shop when searching for a game.  I have a bookmaker account which has never screwed me over.  Bovada is a hack betting site and discourage anyone from using them so be careful if you are.

Man i just hit for 1500 but 1 game was a push so it knocked it down to 800 and some change. I cashed out and still waiting for my money

I wonder when they will legalize online gambling in the USA like marijuana slowly is and stop allowing all these billions to go offshore? If they allow Vegas casinos to have a large stake in the action thus ensuring their survival and growth actually and the gov't gets their slice of the pie then I think everyone wins. It's odd to me it hasn't happened already with the amounts involved and quite frankly more and more novice gamblers entering the market everyday (see Covers has about 10 peeps "I'm new and thought I'd start tracking my plays here threads). The computer algorithms are so sharp nowadays and they feast on this ever burgeoning influx of wanna be cappers like me haha. It's too easy to click deposit, click play, click broke and yes Bovada sucks. There is really no recourse if an offshore site says to go f yourself either and not pay out is there?

I have heard this from others who use Bovado about live betting. The ticket is processed as valid bet and then 24 hours later cancelled.  That's criminal.  My site will take forever to process a live bet and 50% of the time they dont go through- which is frustrating however its not a processed ticket.  Leave Bovado and cause a stir.

Yeah I don't understand this as a business stand point because seeing that most gamblers are bad gamblers and in the end after paying the more astute gambler you would think that these offshore sites would still be making money hand over fist. Why would they risk their reputation and lose accounts by NOT being righteous with their players is beyond me.

I used to use sportsbook, but I switched over to a local bookie a year and a half ago. And I've never had an issue. In fact, I've taken advantage of some live line discrepancies for max bets. I never had an issue with sportsbook either, but I didn't want to risk them honoring a bet so I switched over.

, absolutely agree loca book is the way to go. If you just ask around you'd be surprised there's actuall a lot more degenerates out there. Also online sports books are just garbage with all the payout fees, mandatory rollovers and just b.s like this canceling bets. I despise Bovada

Damn.  I'm sorry to hear that.

Betonline and 5Dimes are unparalleled imo as far as sportsbooks offered to US customers.  Might want to give either of those two a try, but again, I'm sorry.

I use ABCIslands, Betpop, and Betus all great books. No issues. If anybody has a good local in the northern va area pm me, I would love to get paid locally too. Just got 2500 from one of my books recently. There are some great books out there, you just have to find them.

Bodog is such a joke. It's probably run by bikers. They have the absolute worst lines in the world and i only used them once but never again.
The only sure thing about luck is that it will change.

Scary stuff

I started with Bovada and got disgusted with their lines not being generated until almost gametime.  Went to Bookmaker and haven't looked anywhere else since.

I use Oddsmaker and despite terrible customer service, they do pay out in a decent amount of time and I have never had a problem with them in that regards.

I agree it seems stupid to not be profiting on this.  I have never understood it, especially when you see how profitable Vegas and Atlantic City are...I understand that you don't want a country full of casinos, but there should be a much better way to capitalize on it without simply ignoring it and pretending that Americans don't use offshore bookies.

Trump is the right president for that, he's working on legalizing sports gambling in big states, coming soon

Yeah I have an account with betus but they never sent me that credit card you can load.  I tried numerous times.  Sent them all kinds of info and they kept giving me the runaround.  Had about 4500 in there at the time. I think my balance is $0.87 now.  Lol.  They pissed me off so bad I went on straight tilt.  I guess I will try 5dimes.  Thanks guys.  Now I'm over it.

That's pretty sad because IMO Bovada's only strength now is in their live betting system.  They offer the most games and live betting props, they essentially allow no cap on the live bets as you can keep pumping on that over that keeps getting lower and lower.  I've played at Bovada since 2009 and never had a problem, and as someone who just went up 2 grand last night on live betting I better go check my account right now....

I have been with them (bodog now bovada) since 2004-- I bet live daily and the juice is higher but they haven't ever done this to me. I request a check by courier for payout and get check within a week every single time also.  Their juice and reduced limits on certain games are hard to swallow but as far as paying they are 100% which to me is worth it. I also have seen them post bad lines many many times-- such as a team +10 points when they are actually -10 points everywhere else. And have bet horses many times after I saw the race or am watching it-- their system is slow sometimes.  But they are do catch it every time and 0 out the wagers so that's probably what happened to you

horrible and people that lost they same bet they probably keep as a lost  scumbags....but they have all the power...illegal ,,plusoffshore
