Bitcoin withdrawal to credit card?

Hey all, a while back I saw a post where someone posted about being able to withdraw from their book in bitcoin to an exchange that allowed them to transfer the funds to their credit or debit card? Has anyone done this? Just curious if it’s legit and works for those of us in the US. Thanks for the help.
