Betus Roll Over- what can I do?

Well lets start of by saying I have always used a local account and never wagered online. Right after the the Utah jazz series I decided to place a futures bet on the LA Lakers using Betus. I called them and found they have a 100% match bonus in which they pitched me into using. Never betting online it sounded legit i deposited 500+ on the lakers and put the 1000 on the lakers to win 1300. Now that I clearly won i called and asked to cash out.

To only hear that i did not complete a "6 time rollover". I had no damn  clue what the hell that meant to only find out that in order to cash out my winnings i would have to wager $6000 on only straight bets! What king of idiots would ever agree to do something like that? Not only do i not have that kind of money in my account they wont even let me take out my deposit saying they will not profit from this. I asked them to review our conversation and they claimed he said it without letting me hear the tape.

Covers.....do u have any suggestions or should I wait till NBA and NFL to try and clip them for the most money possibly those damn assholes?

You aren't being screwed technically. Rollover is real. That is why they aren't a good deal for the player and cater to the book. NEVER go for a rollover or match etc. Just deposit and play. No book gives away free money without rollovers.

That being said, I would babysit that amount and make intelligent plays and not try to run through it or they will win.  You have $2300 at hand, it can be done. Be patient, get to the 6k in action and then withdraw and never do that gimic again.

 

Put it all on Federer, Nadal, or one of the Williams sisters in an early round of a tournament

Oh hell yeah.  Just make $100 wagers.  You will get that 6k rollover in no time. Don't wager anymore than that.  Dig your heels in and make yourself almost impossible to tap out.  Then enjoy that cash.

Thanks for the info. I knew there was something fishy about getting a 100% free play and it sure came to me. Now i will wait till the NBA season and make sure i put in some quality time into making good picks. Thanks again covers....and i will let you know how it goes.

If he bets heavy favorites, he only gets credit for his win amount toward the rollover.

Bet 500 to win 50 on Federer get credit for only 50.

Also to the TS, the rollover is even worse than you now realize. An example is that on baseball they only give you half credit toward the rollover. Additionally many bets don't count at all.

Also, I highly doubt he has 2300 in his account. The 500 he got was match, not a cash bonus. When the Lakers won, the 500 bonus was 'redeemed.'

rollovers are part of every book....they dont really tell you about it unless you ask....the best thing to do is find an even money baseball game (-105) and bet both sides. this will go torwards your rollover and you will only lose juice.....best way to get your money out without risking losing it.

Do people not read the TOA/rules/etc.??

Earlier this week, IronPicks lost 67k because he didn't know of a parlay win limit at his book... I'd think that this would serve as a lesson to all of you who don't know the rules at your book... 

Rollovers are no problem for me at all..when i send money my intention is to play and not get a payout every 5 days just because i was able to go on a decent run. When i made my first deposit at Heritage i got a $300 cash bonus on the $1000 i sent with a 6x rollover..$7,800 sounds like a lot of betting but it's about $270 a day for a month, that isn't a problem for most players.

If u want the bonus you gotta play a lot.  Same for everyone.

what kind of idiot thinks that a book is just going to give you 500 dollars free for making one bet...how could you be so stupid to think there weren't some terms and conditions associated with the bonus

What kind of idiot does not know about rollover clauses. I am not a fan of BetUS and will never do business with them again, but pretty much anyone who has half a clue knows two things.

1) Any book that offers %100 bonuses is usually shady and definitely desperate for biz

2) That any 100% bonus will come with plenty of strings and usually in the form of a large rollover.

You screwed yourself twofold champ. Firstly by being suckered into playing with BetUS and secondly not knowing their bonus rules. No one to blame but yourself.

It's good to remember that many people, myself included, are new to betting, and so don't know rules more experienced players consider obvious.

I'm currently unable to take $ out of Betus also.  I assume they know people aren't gonna read the gazillion of lines of fine print, and an unaware person can easily get into a "Why can't I take my $ out now?" situation...E

your lying for some unknown reason. The 500 bonus was not cash. It never is. It was a free play. That leaves you with 1,800. Sorry but when you know someone is lying, you call them a liar! George Castanza baby.You could have at least came up with a more interesting scenario.

Whats the big deal with rollovers?

I bet about $300 a game, 5 games on Sat and 1 or 2 on Sunday.  Throw in an occasional weekday and it equates to $2100 of action.

thats 7X already.  I don't know why people want to make a deposit on Friday and withdraw it Monday.  Just build up your roll and when you double it withdraw your original investment and keeping going.

If you aren't a gambler and just want to cash out, arbitrage through your rollover.  You'd be suprised how easy it is to do

How do you open an account with the online houses??? I was told you can't open one using a credit card from a U.S. bank. Do you send money orders or what??? How much do you have to send to open an account?? I have some friends that live in Vegas that could possibly do some wagering for me but they all have full time jobs and families. They wouldn't be able to place wagers everyday or anything soooooo I was thinking about opening an account. Can someone help me please??? Also, what is the best way to bet?? Would you suggest parlays or do a bunch of single games?? I am trying to get set for FOOTBALL SEASON.

That's a GREAT IDEA but I would be curious if they accept that approach.  There are so many rules to the rollovers and free plays.  I don't take them anymore. 

My experience was with BetUS and BetPhoenix and they are both very cagey about explaining the rules to you. They always push the bonus $ because they know there is a greater chance you will lose in the long run. STAY AWAY FROM THESE 2 SBs at ALL COSTS!

I just found myself in this same situation with BetUs. Yes it's my fault for taking the bonus but I had in the past and never had a problem getting paid out.  Now I need to wager $17K before I can touch my money.  It's not that it's a huge problem but props and halves don't count, which I love to bet.  Also, baseball only counts as half action and they take the lower of payout vs win. i.e. I had $300 on the Blue Jackets tonight at +170.  However, only the $300 counted towards my rollover vice the $500+ payout.  I will never be using BetUs in the future.  I doubt there's anyway I'll get to my rollover threshold before losing all my loot.
