Bank Wires

Just curious do Bank Wires always hit the account first thing in the morning?  I've done them before and I check later in the day after banking hours and they're their but I was just wondering if I check first thing and its not their does that mean it probably wont be their for at least another day?  Anyone had experience with them showing up later in the day when they weren't their first thing?
