A response to my e-mail to Pinnacle that just made me say WTF

Pinnacle has some databases and there is an error in thier hockey one.  So me being the business owner type thought that they would want to know about the error on thier site.  So I shoot them an e-mail telling them the problem.

Hello,
 
You have an error in your hockey database for the goaltender Halak that plays for the Montreal Canadiens.  Yesterday I noticed when I looked at his stats against the Atlanta Thrashers he was not listed as playing any games agains them.
 
That's wrong info !!!!!  He had already played two games against them. The first being on 3/8/07 and the 2nd being on 1/20/09.  You need to check your database because this is some very important info that you have wrong.  Now I wonder about other info that may be wrong in your database.
 
The game he played against them is listed from last night.  But the other two times he played against Atlanta is still not there.

It's in your Hockey Database. You click on NHL hockey news and then click on databases at the top of the page.

the responses are always like that , ask them a simple question like what is the rollover requirement transfer from another book, they will send you back a legal document, then you will ask again, they send you back another document, but still they are the best

Not to be mean...but who cares, pinny is the best damn sportsbook out there and there payouts are super fast.

I will say that when you speak to or email customer service at books there is always a vast disconnect. Either the training sucks or they just lack the needed brains to handle the role.

The most suprising thing revealed in this thread is that pinnacle's site shows player stats. I used pinnacle for 6 years basically every day and never knew this. Has anyone else ever known or used this?

It is the best kept seceret on the net.  They have tons of news, trend sheets and stats. Also live scoreboards.  But it's just not pushed.  It's in a little box on the bottom right of the site.  Hell, you don't even need an account to access it.

But again, if I'm picking out bad info it's just useless for the most part.  I just don't have confidence in it.  And if the non-customer service acts like they don't even know they have this info that's a real problem.

But yeah raymour, it is good stuff.  Nose around there some.

this might not be the same conversation but i was just going to make a new column anyway an hopefully someone can answer..how come you cant parlay the baseball game on pinnacle tonight?? its not available, same with the mma last night, pinnacle is very stingy with what they allow you to parlay i guess anyone have any reasons why or if theyll put it on the board at some point before the game starts

I think the probably will put it up.   If you want a place where you can parlay almost anything, 5dimes is the place.  They just don't care.

thanks lippsman, actually i sent an email to csd@pinnacle an they sent me back saying thanks for informing an they made it available within a minute. i find it hard to believe that i could make one of the biggest books in the world realize that, how unorganized is that. they probably keep it off the board for as long as possible until someone complains i dont know.  now i have my yankees ml an arizona +9 parlay in the books an am hopefully going to have a profitable sunday night.
