The conspiracy side of me is coming out tonight...
The most obvious move for Ferrari right now would be for to have Kimi take out Hamilton on the start with Vettel being in the back.
1. If Hamilton gets away clean and wins, the Championship is all but over.
2. If Hamilton goes out before turn one, that's the only way Vettel gains ground on him.
3. It makes for a much more exciting Championship for Formula 1...I don't know why they would be against this.
4. What does Kimi have to lose? Ferrari pays him under the table? He isn't in the Championship fight...the constructors race is all but over..
There are only 2 arguments against this move.
1. Ego. Kimi doesn't want to be Ferrari's b*tch.
2. Formula 1 doesn't want the bad press as being corrupt as they have been in the past with such an obvious wreck.
I say this as someone who bet Hamilton -125 before qualifying, and as crazy as it sounds with Vettel being in the back...I'm terrified.
