    Couple plays

    Rosberg to win +155
    Verstappen top 10 -200
    Ricciardo top 6 -200

I think you can play Rosberg and Hamilton at plus money right now as well.

Vettel -120 top 3. Don't let that 5 grid penalty scare you. Books overreacted. As long as he gets a clean start, he will be just fine. Could be top 3 by the end of the first lap.

Based on the results, it would've been better to bet that he gets run into on the first lap and then DNF's.

But Vettel over Kimi, and top 3 are great bets this year.  This race was the acceptation, not the rule.

It's been a brutal start to the year for my picks.  Today I picked the winner, and then had a wreck, a wreck, and a blown engine.  It's been the story of the season for my picks.  Law of averages would suggest this run of bad luck will turn around, but man...it's frustrating right now.

    Onto the Spanish Grand Prix...

I've been snake bitten so far in terms of betting on guys and then, they wreck.  So, I've thought long and hard about it, and I've tried to figure out why its happening.  I think it comes down to the starts.  The starts are just so important in F1 that guys are taking a ton of chances and then they get themselves into trouble.  So let's see if we can make that work in our favor.

    First bet this week.

Number of cars to finish race under 19.5 -170

It's only finished above 19.5 cars once this year.  I think guys are going to continue to get anxious off the start, and a couple of them will take each other out.  Not to mention the unreliability of some of the engines.  Manor is normally good for a blown engine...Ferrari has had trouble as well.

Going back to the Ricciardo well.  Top 6 -175.  He would've been fine last week if his teammate didn't play demolition derby on the start.

Speaking of his former teammate.  Here's a sneaky bet for everyone.  Kvyat top 10 +110.  He's in Verstappens car which has been a top 10 car this year.  Think he might be motivated to have a good showing here?  Me too...

3-0 great calls Alan!!!! Can't believe what happened at the start and Kimi couldn't get by Verstappen but it was awesome to see the kid win!!!! Wish I could get a Red Bull bet to finish 2nd to Mercedes this year.

Thanks man.  Good to finally get a 3-0 week.  Hopefully that jump starts a big run.

I wasn't surprised Kimi couldn't catch him.  He's terrible right now.  His starts are a joke, and he just happens to be in a great car.  Put Bottas in that car, and he gets way more out of that car.

Boy you aren't a fan of Kimi are you!!!! Lol. I'm not very high on Bottas, not saying he's bad or anything but I'd rather see maybe Perez or Sainz in the seat next to Vettel.

No I'm not a big fan of Kimi...lol.

If you're gonna have a veteran in the car, you should at least get the veteran leadership and experience out of him.  Kimi can't get a good start, if he's got a third place car he finishes 4th, and I'd just rather see a young guy get a shot in that car.  I mean...he couldn't catch an 18 year old who was in his first race with that car.  That's inexcusable when you're making that much money racing for Ferrari.  You're supposed to be the best 2 cars behind Mercedes, and they wrecked.  You're supposed to win that race.  Especially if you're in second place behind a guy who is 3 months removed from having a locker combination at high school.  If Fernando Alonso is in that car, he hunts Verstappen down and makes him sweat for a few laps, then Verstappen gets nervous and makes a mistake and Alonso blows by him for the easy win.

Don't get me wrong...I like Kimi being in that car cause it makes betting a little easier, but I have friends that are big time Ferrari fans, and they feel the same way.

I love the Red Bull strategy.  Invest in the young drivers, and give them the chance to show their stuff.  They give the guys enough opportunities to prove themselves, and if they don't...they get replaced with another young guy.  Red Bull now has Ricciardo, Verstappen, Sainz and Kvyat in their stable of drivers.  That's about as good as it gets in terms of long term investing in young drivers.  What does Ferrari have?  Vettel who is elite........and Kimi.  Terrible.  They should have a young guy in that car who they can groom for the next decade.

    Monaco bets

    To Win:
    Hamilton +160
    Rosberg +170

Ill gladly take these guys at this big of plus money to win.  I expect them to get good qualifying positions, and get a good clean start.  One of them should lead wire to wire on a course that's impossible to pass on.

    Vettel -175 top 6.

This should be his price for top 3 finish.  Lines are over adjusting based on last race.

    Canadian Grand Prix

Staying away from the big names as I think the lines aren't giving us enough value.

So here's a couple early plays I like

    Alonso top 10 +150
    Button top 10 +175

Alonso has top 7 finishes in 2 out of the last 3 races, and Button has 3 top 10s in the last 3 races.  Button had some really good quotes about how their cars fit nicely on this track.  I think if their engines hold up they will make top 10.  I'm really hoping for one of these to cash, but i like the outside shot opportunity to get both of them to cash.  And at these prices, it could be a good payday.

Laying juice here, but here's the best way I can bet this.

Rosberg should run away with this.  Even if Ricciardo or Vettel get the jump on him at the start, he will have the pace to pass them.  If he keeps out of trouble on the start, he should take this race.  Hamilton will get caught in traffic, and won't be able to catch the front runners unless he pulls off something miraculous.

    Rosberg to win -180

I wanted to take Ricciardo or Vettel top 3, but I couldn't decide which one, but I'm worried about Hamilton, or a random Williams car sneaking into the top 3 and knocking one of these guys out of the top 3, so Im taking Ricciardo top 6 -250.  He may fight for the win, but as long as he stays safe on the start, he should easily stay in the front.

    Ricciardo top 6 -250

Playing more on Hamilton to win after Vettel and Rosberg hit with gearbox penalties.

    Parlay

    Hamilton v Rosberg
    Vettel v Kimi
    Massa v Perez

    Pays about +240

Making a play on Massa -155 v Perez.

Massa has been faster in every practice session and in qualifying.  In qualifying Perez was eliminated in round 1, and Masa made it to round 3.  Massa has a 6 position advantage in the starting grid.

That fiasco gave me a heart attack. I had one of the biggest bets I've ever had on Hamilton to win that race. It might be weeks before my blood pressure goes down.

    Kimi v Perez -115.

Love love love this play.  Bad matchup by the books.  Kimi has been way faster every practice, just had some bad luck with qualifying and the weather and the wrecks.  Kimi should end up top 8 by the end if he stays clean.

What a horrific parlay.  Onto the race

    Ricciardo top 3

Parlay of Ricciardo v Verstappen, and Vettel v Kimi.  Pays almost +200
