GREEN GRAPES and ground beef taco meat. Just stumbled onto this today.
Was eating leftover soft tacos (ground beef, bell pepper, diced tomato, onion, spices) and threw in some green grapes (refrigerated) and gotta tell ya.
Gotta "layer" the flavors
Made some soft tacos with the ground beef but added GREEN GRAPES to it.

Later on, I think I am going to see what these grapes taste like cooked. Gonna cut them in half and stuff them (with the taco meat) into some poblano peppers and either grill or bake them. Maybe through in some acidic fruit, or at least a mango as well.

The best thing I've come across are grits tamales. Have not seen one in years. I don't even know where they come from. Not Mexico though, somewhere in Texas.
And you can put shrimp inside the tamales. Like a "to go" package

not weird but wrap some fresh figs with prosciutto and throw them on the grill for a little...they are unbelievable..great combo of sweet and salty.
another very healthy weird combo that i eat after workouts sometimes is canned white tuna fish straight out of the can mixed in a bowl of brown rice and kidney beans,,just mix it in and i throw some hot sauce on it also
