Canned corn drained nice on dry,, heated to a nice high temp in an all clad or cast iron pan/skillet, a big table spoon of butter and olive oil. Roast it up with plenty of cracked black pepper.
Of course, better yet is sliced fresh off the cob with an extra sharp knife.
Yum.
Chopped up asparagus in inch long segments, olive oil, and lawry's lemmon pepper. (the other brands of lemmon pepper suck IMO.)
Sizzle them up, but not so much as to lose their crispness.

Not trying to be a jerk but there is absolutely no reason to buy canned vegetables if you have a freezer. The frozen ones are a shitload better. But for sure, a little onion & garlic is good
Canned tomatoes are the exception and that is about the only canned vegetable allowed in most commercial professional kitchens.
Speaking of corn, corn goes well with tomatoes. Heck, everything goes well with tomatoes.
