Takes a little planning but taste good and also healthy.
1/2 jar sliced jalapenos (with juice)
1 medium onion
Large Bag of Dehydrated Pinto Beans
Rinse and soak the beans overnight. Rinse again. Stick in large stock pot and cover with several inches of water with kosher salt and pepper. Add jalapenos with juice. Cook for about an hour and a half on low simmer. I add the onion about halfway through. I slice half moon shape or french cut onion.
The beans can take a lot of different flavor combinations but this is a real "clean" version and healthy. Can throw any type of spices in there you want but I just like the jalapeno juice.
