no offense, but get a clue, its not natural, its a supplement, and has side effects. i like my kidneys and a healthy diet, drinking lots of water, and an exercise routine is natural, creatine is not smart ass.  Educate yourself first, i have been in the industry for years, you post on covers for a living

Actually there are many advantages to taking creatine besides strength and weight gain  it is healthy for your heart  and you do have natural creatine in your body  creatine can be taken everyday without a off cycle

Dude-  chill out a bit.  Creatine is already in meat.  If it's not for you that's fine, but the condescending tone is unnecessary.  No reason to speak down to people.  I used to be in the fitness industry too, but got out because of all the asshole know-it-alls.

recommending someone to use creatine because they are skinny is not the alternative, everyone may have different views but because of the side effects of this substance that one can endure it would not be my professional recommendation nor that of many others i consult with in the health and fitness industry to use this as atl's solution for weight gain.  Lift more weights, get more protein in your diet through food. I played ball with guys who abused the use of creatine and had some of the side effects that is forewarned when taking this product.  Some complained of rapid heart beats as well, considering creatine does speed up the heart rate.  You can simply drink more water and be more active to increase your energy levels, all this stuff out there now i do not promote.  He wants to gain weight, not be a body builder or a professional athlete.  He should do it the proper way.. rock on

Though creatine is a protein which occurs naturally in the body, and has been classified by manufacturers and sellers as devoid of side effects, increasing creatine content within the body is not entirely free of short and long term problems which the user might suffer from.

Creatine has been known to cause mild to serious side effects among users. Its use may lead to cramps, stomach upsets and vomiting. Also, due to its property, Creatine absorbs water from cells which results in increasing the water mass of muscles, leading to dehydration, and obesity. Physicians are of the opinion that due to this dehydration, users may suffer from mood swings, increased anger and depression. In fact users have claimed that depression levels dropped among them when they stopped taking creatine. Users are thus advised to drink lots of water to stop dehydration.

mong serious side effects creatine causes kidney, and gastrointestinal disorders. Users have also reported increased anxiety, acne, male breast formation (Gynecomastia), and a reduction in penis size and hair loss. Gastrointestinal complications have been commonly reported among users of creatine supplements. Moreover, scientific studies have proved that increase in body mass from creatine use can be attributed to water retention by muscle.

Creatine use among health freaks is still under a lot of debate. Critics have claimed that the Loading Phase involves a lot of creatine intake, which the body is unable to process. This leads to excretion, and thus wastage of creatine. Moreover research on the benefits of creatine has been limited both in terms of number of research reports and duration of research questions as to how creatine affects teenaged users, elders and pregnant or lactating mothers have remained unanswered due to lack of conclusive research in this field. It is important to note here that not all creatine supplements have obtained the FDA approval. FDA approval to Creatine is termed as "loose" by many industry experts, since though creatine is approved, a lot of marketers add more chemicals to pure creatine to lessen side effects and increase effectiveness. For example, one seller alleges that its product does not get converted to creatinine in the human stomach, a compound which is nullify all expected benefits from ingesting creatine. The company claims that it does this by addition of chemicals to prevent conversion of creatine into creatinine. The effects of such additives on the human body haven't been studied. Users are thus advised to always consult a doctor before taking creatine.

You posted false info..........I corrected you & now you got your panties in a bunch. If you don't approve of creatine that's fine. But don't try to push your opinion as gospel. I've been working out in gyms since the early 90's & I've never heard of anyone having any adverse effects from creatine. Does that mean it's 100% safe? Of course not..........there's always going to be someone who doesn't react well to something,e.g. some people are allergic to milk. But it is a natural substance & many have benefited from using it, myself included.

No shit man, that creatine addiction is a motherfucker.  People lose their job, house, wife and kids over creatine.  My buddy is in Creatine Anonymous weekly meetings now.  His sponsor says it almost left him homeless.  If you think you have a creatine addiction, do the right thing and seek help before it takes over your life!!
