Drop Oswalt, Sanchez, both??

My team is sitting right in the middle of the pack (5th out of 11) and my pitching is what has carried me to this point of the season.  A lot of disappointing bats that I had to finally let go.  With Oswalt and Sanchez both underachieving and now hitting the DL what should I do??

I am in a similar situation as you(hovering around 5 or 6 in a 12 teamer) and I had sanchez. I just let him go. I heard at some point oswalt is going to need surgery for his back. He may just put it off til next year but he admitted it affected his performance.

I picked up beachy cause he has more than one k/inn average even if it is a smaller sample size. One thing to look at too is picking up uehara from balt. I have a feeling he may get a shot at closer if Baltimore falls out of race. You could keep an eye on him and then deal him later. I'm also curious if heath bell is one of your closers? If so don't be surprised if he goes to philly or Texas. It well def make his saves go up and in turn make one of your other closers expendable. Good luck with whatever you do though.

Anibal Sanchez is far from underachieving. He has had 2 bad starts all season. Other than that he's been really damn good. 14 of 17 starts with 3 ER or less. 111K in 109 IP.

Pick up Baker and ditch Carpenter. Baker has been a K machine last 6 weeks or so.

oswalt should be fine when he comes back. all depends on how is back is doing.
