Sparky: Faber is Urijah Faber from the old "WEC", he was the champ over there before they did away with it and most of the guys are now in ufc.. he lost his Featherweight Belt to Jose Aldo in WEC and when they merged Aldo automatically became the 1st UFC Featherweight Title Holder.
Urijah's good, great conditioning, solid Jiu-jitsu and a ton of experience but Barao is a Beast and i think he'll beat Urijah, He's the training partner of Jose Aldo and he hasnt lost in his L 29 fights, He's 30-1, 1 was a No Contest, 1 Loss.. most of them are from Brazil but he cruised through the WEC and is 3-0 in UFC, he has an all around game with very good Muay-Tuay and excellent BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Black Belt). He lost his 1st fight in 2005 and hasnt lost since..
Hector Lombard is a very good fighter, he used to fight in Pride back in 2005 or 2006, cant remember exactly but he's most recently been in BELLATOR FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIPS.. he has a record of 31-2-1 Very Tough Fighter.. i have to see the line but i think he wins his ufc debut vs Boetsch. think he's somewhere around -280 or more which isnt worth it to me, Boetsch lands cleanly and he's capable of ending the fight
The 149 card is so-so, Barao/Faber and Lombard/Boetsch will be good and then u have Cheick Kongo fighting and Brian Ebersole is always a treat to watch, he's the dude that shaves an arrow in his chesthair, weird dude but good all around fighter.. other then that its guys from previous Ultimate Fighter Shows and Ryan Jimmo is making his UFC Debut, he was the MFC 205 Champ (Maximum Fighting Championship)
i already like B.Ebersole no matter what the line is.
STRIKEFORCE is on July 14th at 6PM ET from the Rose Garden, Randy Couture's son is fighting, also on the card is Keith "the Dean of Mean" Jardine, remember him ? he's on there and Ex-UFC Middleweight contender Nate Marquardt. main event is Rockhold vs Kennedy

philly just heard the verdict from state college, and the "new" information about joe pa and many penn state officials knowing about it all along... what's the stir like down there in pa over this today?? people are talking about ripping down statues, they said they already took his name off the childcare center at the university... now comes the syracuse trial i guess

Im not near Penn State, roughly 2.5 hours away from there, im in Philadelphia and thats between Philly and Pittsburgh. its all over the local radio stations though.
They wanted to Protect the "Penn State" name and they knew what would happen had they said something awhile back, its disgusting and they all deserve to be put behind bars for the rest of their lives, Jo-Pa's a Piece of shit just like Sandusky, the whole thing makes me sick, as adults we have the DUTY to protect kids no matter what and from top to bottom at PSU they all failed to do that miserably.

yeah i couldn't believe how much espn was glorifying paterno when he died... i was like uuuhhh guys didn't we just find out a couple months ago that he knew about a child molestation scandal?? it's a great story gone bad... turns out joe pa wasn't the man that everyone thought he was... life is full of disappointments, and people need to accept this as that.. anyone who can abed someone who committed SO MANY crimes deserves to be dead, and i think his own guilt and what he knew was coming consumed him and his old heart probably just couldn't take the stress and he drops dead... don't wish death upon anyone, except maybe sandusky... i'm sure he's gonna be on the receiving end now for years to come, as you know many prison inmates DESPISE child molesters... As for cancelling the football program.. RIDICULOUS!! Football is the one thing that can bring everyone together, shutting down the program (like they have been talking about doing) is the last thing they should do... The school has a fresh start now, and everyone should be glad that this whole thing has been exposed and finally come to a stop (hopefully everywhere)

just going with the over tonight, unfortunately i got in too late and my book was up to 55.5, but i'm still on it... you guys remember drew tate from iowa?? he was lighting it up for calgary until he got injured last week in toronto... kevin glenn stepping in.. these teams put up 38 points in the first half of their first meeting in calgary then only 10 in the 2nd... i expect the Al's to put a lot more points tonight...

lol yeah they call it a 'rouge' lol... and they quite often conceit a safety if they are pinned deep just to get the kick off and get the ball deep down field... crazy ending montreal comes back down 13 with 3 mins left to get 2 tds to win it... impressive... got the over that's all i cared about!!! on to friday!!

Not to sound un-patriotic but i hate the cfl so much, I turn down free tickets to the Argos all the time, I think it's a waste of time and the league should be a farm league for the nfl. Every nfl team should have a sister team in Canada that they send rookies and fringe players to get experience, and guys can work for there job playing in Canada.... It's probably a stupid idea but I think it would be cool lol

dante i used to think the same way about the cfl... not appreciate it.. and where as i am not OVERLY in to it... i usually just bet it for degen action, and hoping philly's guy gets on a good roll here but yeah the quality of football is shitty compared to the nfl, but at the same time it's a just a bunch of guys without huge egos just playing football... thats the only reason they are in the cfl, not cause they are getting paid large money cause they could probably get paid more selling real estate or something like that, but they play cause they love the game and that's what I like about the cfl

funny i was already leaning the under after seeing edmonton put up not even a field goal sunday night... they lost 13-1 i think... and winnipeg's offense doesn't look much better... yeah it is kind of shitty with only 8 teams, but hey that's the extent to pro sports in canada... only 8 cities that can support a pro football team... and as it's not as big in the east, cfl is HUGE in western canada, as they don't have any other pro sports teams out there except hockey

USC: He Sent me a Little Info on why he likes them... Edm has covered 5 outta last 6 as a Home Fav of Under 3 pts. Edm is 14-4 vs Winnipeg at Home and they only give up an Avg of 16 points a game on "D" this season. Winnipeg has lost 8 outta last 10 road games as a 7pt or less Dog and their defense sucks allowing an Avg of 37 Points.
He Usually doesnt send me Info but i asked why and he sent a long text explaining.. Good Stuff and decent Info, makes me feel better laying money on the teams

some pretty consistent looking numbers there... 8 out of last 10 is hurting lol... hope they don't cough up that many points tonight!! I think this one should stay low scoring... edmonton d looked as good as their offense looked bad hahaha... might play edm too but i think just the under for now...
