Hello,
Our moderators and support team do their best to stay on top of the spam posters, however not all can be caught right away. We are continuing to assess measures that can combat the serial spamming without restricting current users' posting abilities. Your patience in the matter is appreciated.

One way to make lessen spammers is by changing the verification method and posting rules once a new member joins. I know some european forums that has strict rules against spam and hateful posts.
For spam they do the following:
- When a new member joins, they will send an email verification to their email to verify the email. Once verified, the new member must wait 24 hours before he can make his first post. Study shows this method eliminates 50% of serial spammers because they don't have the patience or wont remember password to the new email addy and username they created.
- after the 24 hour period, once the new members starts posting, he can make posts only every 5 minutes until first 25 posts. then he can post in normal duration. this will eliminate close to 80% of the spammers.

Exactly correct Covers. It will also eliminate 80% of Ganda's whining to you 100 times a day.

If the link text itself can easliy be added to a file by the mods the list can be updated by you guys without any programming implementations as the process before posting would constantly check that file for matches.
The spammers cannot keep changing the main address of their URLs
for example the bold part:
https://www.spammerzRus.it/index.asp?action=burp711
would be an entry on the file
